Founded in 1976 by Jill Gover, Ocean Performing Arts & Fitness is a vibrant hub where movement meets creativity.

Now led by her daughter Rakesh Short, we proudly carry on a legacy of dance, performance, and fitness in the Illawarra's northern suburbs. Dance school providing lessons in a wide variety of genres for all ages. We provide classes in Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Tap, Modern and Contemporary.

A little sneak peek into our Tumble Class 🤸‍♀️✨

Tumbling is such a fundamental part of our dancers’ skill development helping them build the strength, technique and confidence they need to safely execute the flips and tricks required in their dance routines.

Our classes are all about breaking skills down, building them up and giving every dancer the confidence to keep progressing 💗
