Experimentation is a great way to see just how many different ways there are to play one shot. Not that I would hit a full swing flop shot greenside (unless necessary) itβs still fun to see how the ball reacts on the green.
That key word here is FUN!!! Thatβs really what I was doing hereβ¦.. work on the technique and then try to enjoy it and have some fun π€πΌπ

Great before and after of Kieran today. Working on lower body stability and structure. This in term helps with spine angle maintenance and efficient shoulder turn. Some great gains today πͺπΌ

Some great work with . We worked on better rotation in the backswing, in particular hips and shoulders which helped calm his hands as well.
Big things to come ππͺπΌ

Never underestimate the importance of a solid set up position. Itβs the foundation to our golf swing and dictates a lot of where our natural motion takes the club.
Will (Blue Jacket) had his hips closed in both his chipping set up and full swing. Squaring them up creates so much more room to move and swing freely. Similarly with Oscar, his posture was not allowing free movement. After adjusting his set up into a more athletic shape his chipping improved dramatically.
Always check the simple things before moving on to the mechanical aspects ππ»

Some great shortgame set up upgrades for Kristy.
Increasing that bounce turf interaction and using some loft. Flight patterns and spin rate both improved dramatically π€©ππ»β³οΈ

Some pretty cool changes for Martin. We are working on quietening his hands during his swing and rotating his hips and shoulders more. This helps shallow his path and greatly improves consistency and strike pattern π€©β³οΈππ»
If, like me you forget the alignment stick a second club works well π

Was a fun arvo coaching this arvo. Andrew made some great improvements.
He was slipping under plane after being a bit narrow on the downswing, leading to blocks and snap hooks. After getting some width on the downswing his flight straightened up nicely and got some great compression back. Check second image π³πππ»
Can swing it this bloke πͺπΌ

Had a great session with ππͺπΌ
Worked on allowing the lower body to pivot more efficiently during the backswing, which helps with shoulder turn and allows space for better transition in and through impact. Ev picked up effortless distance (not that he needed any π³ 180M 7iron), but most importantly gained control and penetrating ball flight.
Canβt wait to see the on course results π€πΌπ
