Armidale Archers

It is great that we have such a diverse group in our club. Members ranging in ages and bow preferences including bare bow, recurve, compound and yumi the traditional Japanese bow. This Sunday our club event is a 720 and we have a few members registered so far. If you plan on participating in the event please hop onto Archers Diary and register for the distance you want to do. If you are coming along but don't want to take part in the event, there is a listing for "I'll be there" so we know who is going to be showing up. We look forward to seeing you all there.

Thanks to a very generous couple of guys our new shed is finished and now in use. A lot of people, put in a lot of effort to get this completed, and we would like to thank you all. It is much closer and more convenient for everyone to get the target faces out on a Sunday morning.

This Sunday we have a 900 event. You can choose to shoot 30, 40, 50 or 60m for your 90 arrows. Or if you just want to practice you can register as I'll be there. If you are going to be at the club this weekend please remember to register on Archers Diary. See you there.

Only three tackled the field enent last weekend. Hopefully more will give it a go next time it's on.

Hi everyone. Don't forget the working bee tomorrow at 9:30am. Is Dan going to have to do the field event all by himself Sunday? Come on guys get yourself registered for both so we know who will be there.

We had quite a few show up on Sunday for our handicap shoot with one even shooting a perfect score of 720. This coming weekend is the working bee on Saturday and a field shoot on Sunday. If you are coming along on either day please register on Archers Diary so we know how many will be joining us.

30m and 72 arrows Club handicap shoot this Sunday. These shoots are always a lot of fun. This event is a great one for some of our newer members to have a go at. All are welcome to give it a try. Ok guys surely Phillip and I are not the only ones doing the Armidale event this Sunday. Dennis has included a variety of flights so most can find one that will suit them. Please register on Archers Diary. Even if you don't want to do the event there is a flight listed as "I'll be there" for everyone who just wants to practice. See you all Sunday.

We had a gorgeous day for our 720 today. Great to see so many of our new younger members showing up regularly and they are doing really well. We only had four participate in the event and Dan left us all for dead but no surprise there.
