🏀 final 10-17yo skills session 11.30am-1pm,
🌭 a free bbq
🦁 and then the second and final tryout for the 2027 Armidale Lions representative season from 1.30 – 3pm

We encourage everyone interested in improving their skills or playing Lions in 2027 to come along and make the most of this final opportunity.

For returning Lions players:
If you played for the Lions previously, cannot attend this final tryout, and still wish to be considered for a 2027 team or squad, please make sure you let us know. We don't want to miss you from the list if you are sick or injured.

MONDAYS & TUESDAY AFTERNOONS AT THE DEN.

ABA is currently SEEKING PLAYERS FOR TERMS 3 & 4 - and there’s a spot on court waiting for your child!
We’re looking for more kids to join teams from Year 3 all the way up to Year 10.

New players are VERY welcome! 🙌
Your child doesn’t need to have played basketball before - Terms 3 & 4 are great opportunities to jump in, learn the game, meet some new people and become part of a team.

🦁 Every 8–17 year old who registers helps the future of basketball in Armidale.
So whether your child wants to play socially, try something new, play with their mates or has dreams of pulling on an Armidale Lions rep jersey to join the Pride - we want them!

Sunday's Representative tryouts are just around the corner! 🏀🌟🦁

Playing representative basketball is a fantastic opportunity to challenge your child, develop skills, make lifelong friendships, and compete against teams from across the region.

Whether they've played representative basketball before or are considering trying out for the first time, we encourage all eligible players to give it a go.

Selections are based on attitude, effort, coachability, teamwork and basketball ability. We encourage every player to come prepared, work hard, and most importantly, enjoy the experience.
