Attention all you footy fans!

The Grand Final is just around the corner, and the Club is seeking expressions of interest from members. Regarding hosting an AFL Grand Final event, similar to previous years

As you are aware, a lot of time and effort goes into planning Club functions (all voluntary)
So before any plans are made, the committee really needs to know if the event will be well supported

Please comment below if you will attend a Grand Final function held at the Club
A monetary figure will be charged to cover costs of lunch etc.

We know a lot of you may have prior commitments elsewhere, and that's fine
But if you don't have plans, then let us know below if you're keen

After the formalities of the meeting, the Club welcomed a new life member - Dot Melkus.

Dot was warmly congratulated by all our members and in particular by our existing Life Members

I joked that we need a carpet company to sponsor the Club, to provide us some red carpet for our latest VIP.
Well deserved, and thank you to all our Life Members for everything you’ve done for our Club
The rest of the morning was spent chatting amongst ourselves, over a cuppa and some morning tea

Bridget would welcome some feedback on what meals, you would like to see on a Friday night

It was brass monkey weather out on C Green this afternoon ❄️
We had 24 bowlers who braved the cold 🥶 for a game of nominated triples

Well it was a cracking day for ducks yesterday, unfortunately scroungers was a washout, (wetsuit, goggles, snorkel and flippers were optional) but a small crew of scrounger's still enjoyed each others company in the Clubhouse

Today's weather is looking a bit better?
Nominated triples at 12:30 pm for a 1 pm start. Please be at the Club early, as nominations close at 12:30 pm sharp
