Over our 40+ years since formation, the clubs success has been built on the values of integrity, respect, ambition, effort, teamwork and community. The club has proudly produced a number of players who have gone on to represent Australian national teams at both youth and senior levels and become professional footballers and international players in their own right. More importantly, Adelaide Olympic Football Club has played a key development role in thousands of young people that have become active and positive contributors, with a shared passion for the sport in our local community. Our mission is to positively impact the development of youth in our community by providing soccer and life-enriching opportunities to young players of all ages and playing abilities, to create a lifelong passion for the sport of soccer, and to help raise the level of soccer in our city, our state and our nation. We strive to play an active role in the leadership, development and personal growth of our players and staff by being an active member of our community through service, partnerships and programs. Our ultimate goal as a club is to encourage, inspire and empower each player and coach to be able to reach the highest level possible within the game and in life, while helping create leaders and individuals that will inspire others to do the same.

OUR FUTURE ⚪️🔵

Such a great morning spent at the NWJSA school soccer on 12 September, proudly promoting Adelaide Olympic and everything our club has to offer!

As junior coordinators, Lily and Natalie are passionate about the development, growth and enjoyment of kids through sport. We believe football is about so much more than kicking a ball — it’s about building confidence, friendships, resilience, teamwork and creating a place where kids feel like they belong.

That’s exactly what Adelaide Olympic is — a home where kids can grow.

From their first MiniRoos experience through to their junior years and beyond, we want every child to have the opportunity to develop their skills, discover their love of football, make lifelong friendships and enjoy being part of something special.

Seeing so many young kids excited about football that morning was a great reminder of why we do what we do.

We were incredibly proud to represent Olympic and can’t wait to welcome even more young players and families into our football family.

What a season for Adelaide Olympic Football Club!

We are incredibly proud to finish Runners-Up in the 2026 Nova Youth Club Championship – Tier 1, securing 2nd place overall amongst some of the strongest youth programs in the competition.

A huge congratulations to every player, coach, team manager and family member who contributed to this fantastic result. Across the season, our teams continued to compete, develop and represent the Olympic badge with pride.

The road to 2027 starts now! Adelaide Olympic FC is calling on players ready to compete, develop and take the next step in their football journey.

PAUL POLITIS 👊🏼

The Adelaide Olympic Football Club is pleased to announce that Paul Politis will continue as our Under 18s and Reserves Head Coach for the 2027 season.

Paul will continue to oversee both squads as we build on the progress made across our junior and senior pathway over the past two seasons.

Since taking charge of the Under 18s, Paul has been part of a highly successful period for the program. In 2025, the Under 18s secured both the Premiership and Championship, before repeating the achievement in 2026.

This season also saw the Reserves secure the Premiership, further highlighting the strength of the pathway between our Under 18s and senior program.

With the continued development of our younger players remaining a key focus for Adelaide Olympic, retaining continuity across the U18s and Reserves is an important part of our plans for 2027.

Paul will continue working closely with the players and a wider coaching structure as we prepare for the upcoming season.

We look forward to another season with Paul leading our U18s and Reserves.

MAGED IBRAHIM 👊🏼

The Adelaide Olympic Football Club is delighted to announce Maged Ibrahim as our 2027 Senior Men’s Head Coach.

For Maged, this appointment represents a return to a club that has been an important part of his football journey.

Having first represented Adelaide Olympic between 2000 and 2005, including as part of our 2004 NPL Grand Final team, Maged has a genuine connection to the blue and white and understands what this club represents.

Since his time as a player, Maged has gone on to establish himself as a highly respected coach, building an impressive career across South Australian football. With an A Licence and experience leading and contributing to successful senior programs, he brings with him a strong understanding of the standards, commitment and leadership required to compete at the highest level.

His coaching career has included guiding Adelaide Cobras to NPL promotion, leading Vipers to a State League 2 Championship and promotion, and most recently being part of Adelaide City’s NPL Premiership and Championship winning season in 2026.

Now, Maged returns to Olympic, not just as a former player, but as a coach ready to lead our Senior Men’s program into its next chapter.

We believe his experience, leadership and mentality will be invaluable as we continue to build a strong and ambitious senior program, while strengthening the connection between our senior teams and the wider Adelaide Olympic family.

Maged, we are incredibly proud to welcome you home.

Your journey with Olympic started many years ago, and today, a new chapter begins.

U13 GRAND FINAL

A TOUGH END, BUT SO MUCH TO BE PROUD OF.

It wasn’t our day this morning, with our U13 YPL boys going down 2-0 to Adelaide City in the Grand Final.

But the result doesn’t take away from what this group has achieved this season. They’ve worked incredibly hard, battled through every challenge and earned their place on the biggest stage.

To our boys — hold your heads high. You gave everything, you fought for each other and you represented Adelaide Olympic with pride. That’s something to be incredibly proud of.

A huge thank you to our coaches, families and supporters who have been behind this group every step of the way.

The result might not have gone our way, but this is only the beginning for this group. We couldn’t be prouder.

RESERVES | GRAND FINAL

It just wasn’t our day.

After 120 minutes of football and a Grand Final that went all the way to penalties, our Reserves fell just short of lifting the trophy.

But what a season this group has had. State League 1 Premiers and Grand Finalists.

To finish the season as Premiers is an incredible achievement and a true reflection of the hard work, commitment and belief this group has shown all year.

To every player, coach and staff member on an outstanding season, you’ve given everything for the badge and made the entire Adelaide Olympic family incredibly proud.

Heads held high, boys. What a season to be proud of.
