What a proud day for Williamstown Superules. 💙🏉

Both the North West Women’s and Men’s teams came away with the win in today’s inaugural AFL Masters Vic Metro Rep Cup, and we couldn’t be prouder of everyone involved.

A huge congratulations to our coaches, players and all those who represented the club so brilliantly. It was a fantastic day of football and a special moment for our W***y family.

It was also wonderful to see so many familiar faces from the club there supporting from the sidelines.

And Salty — your support was noticed. Thank you. 💙

he Williamstown Superules community is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Jimmy Onturk.

Jimmy was a much-loved member of the Geelong Masters family and a highly respected player across the wider AFL Masters community.

While he wore the Geelong colours with pride, Jimmy was part of the bigger Masters family — a teammate, opponent, friend and familiar face to so many across our competition.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Jimmy’s wife, children, family, friends, teammates at Geelong Masters and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Rest in peace, Jimmy.

ROUND 7 | MEN’S 55s

This Sunday our Men’s 55s take on Diamond Valley in a big top-three clash.

Diamond Valley are currently sitting on top of the ladder, with W***y sitting in third, so this is shaping up to be a very strong contest.

The boys head in with a solid backline, with Bull holding down centre half-back, supported by the young Stretch and fast Slugga right beside him. And with the back pockets ready to swoop if anything gets through, the defence is looking strong.

On ball, we have Alex in the ruck, with Brian and Mick ready to get to work around the contest.

Our forwards are also looking dangerous, with Charles at centre half-forward and Roo Boy sitting nicely in the full-forward position. Phantom and Rizzo will be ready to crumb and make the most of every opportunity.

And let’s not forget that impressive bench, ready to keep the rotations fresh.
