🥋 FROM 7-YEAR-OLD BEGINNER TO ATHLETE & LEADER
Ali first walked onto our mats at just 7 years old around the same age as many of our Lil Tigers today. 🐯
He started in our traditional classes, learning the fundamentals and developing a love for Taekwondo. At 11, he joined our Competition Team and discovered his passion for sparring.
Now 14, Ali has spent half his life training with us.
He has grown up on our mats, travelled across Australia representing Mozhdeh Martial Arts and developed into an accomplished young fighter, recently winning gold at major national and international-ranked events.
But the medals are only part of the story.
Today, Ali is also an assistant instructor helping guide younger students who are starting exactly where he once did.
His family has grown with our club too, supporting our community, our events and cheering for the whole team at competitions.
This is what martial arts means to us.
Not just creating successful athletes, but helping young people develop confidence, discipline, resilience, responsibility and leadership.
From student, to competitor, to role model and now assistant instructor we couldn’t be prouder of the young man Ali is becoming.
In Ali’s own words:
“I’m proud to travel across Australia representing Mozhdeh Martial Arts and excited to see where this journey takes me next.”
So are we.
Keep working. Keep learning. Stay humble.
The journey is only beginning. 💙🥋

August is here. A new month. A fresh opportunity.
Take a moment and ask yourself…
Where am I on the goals I set at the start of the year?
Whether you’re preparing for State Selection, working towards the 2026 National & International Championships, chasing your next belt or Black Belt, or simply training to get fitter, build confidence, make friends, and become the best version of yourself every class matters.
Progress isn’t made overnight. It’s built through consistency. The days you don’t feel like training are often the days that make the biggest difference.
There are 5 months left in 2026.
Plenty of time to improve.
Plenty of time to grow.
Plenty of time to surprise yourself.
Show up. Stay disciplined. Trust the process.
Let’s finish the year stronger than we started. 🥋🔥

🥋 What a day!
On Saturday, we held our largest grading to date, and we couldn't be prouder of every student who stepped onto the mats.
The progress on display was a reflection of months of hard work, the right attitude, consistency, and perseverance. It was fantastic to see everyone putting their skills into practice with confidence.
A huge congratulations to all of our students on your achievements, and a sincere thank you to our incredible instructors for the time, energy, and support you invest in every class. Your dedication makes all the difference.
This grading is just one milestone; keep training, stay consistent, and we're excited to see how much more you'll achieve in the months ahead.
💥 Remember: We're OPEN throughout the school holidays, so keep coming to your regular classes and continue building on your momentum. If there's anything you'd like extra help with before your next grading or competition, speak to one of our instructors—we'd be happy to organise a private training session to help you reach your goals.
Congratulations again, everyone! The future is looking bright. 👏🔥

🥇🥇 Double Gold for Lucy Schranz
🥈🥈 Double Silver for Emily Schranz
🔥 3 Athletes. 6 Medals. 🔥
An incredible result for our Cadet and Junior team at the World Taekwondo President’s Cup and Australian Open.
Competing across four days against some of the best athletes from Australia and around the world, our athletes delivered outstanding performances and demonstrated the quality, improvement and consistency we strive for at Mozhdeh Martial Arts.
To take just three athletes to two major World Ranking events and come away with six medals is something we are extremely proud of. More importantly, these results reflect the development of our athletes and their ability to perform on the international stage.
We were also proud to have Coach Shahnaz representing Mozhdeh Martial Arts as an international referee throughout both events, contributing to the sport at the highest level.
We also had athletes competing in the Senior division, Geremy and Malik gaining valuable experience against quality international opposition throughout the week.
