🏑 FINALS WRAP-UP 🏑
A weekend of big moments, hard-fought matches and plenty of Footscray spirit across our senior and junior teams!

🔴 Women’s
🔹 WPLR fell just short, going down 2–1 and bringing their season to an end.
🔹 PA battled hard in a narrow 1–0 loss, ending their finals campaign.
🔹 PB went down 3–0 but have earned a second chance and will return next weekend!

🔵 Men’s
🔹 PB secured a fantastic 3–1 win and will play next weekend for a place in the Grand Final!
🔹 PD went down 8–1 but have a second chance to bounce back next weekend.
🔹 M1 delivered an impressive 3–0 victory and are Grand Final bound in two weeks!
🔹 M2’s season came to an end following a 2–0 loss.

🟡 Juniors
🔹 U16 Girls Shield fought hard in a narrow 2–1 loss, bringing their season to an end.
🔹 U16 Boys Shield finished 4–4 after an incredibly close contest before going down 4–2 in the penalty shootout.
🔹 U14 Mixed District held their nerve in another thrilling penalty shootout, winning 7–6 to book their place in the Grand Final!

Congratulations to all our teams for representing Footscray with pride this weekend. We’re incredibly proud of those whose seasons have come to an end—and we can’t wait to get behind the teams continuing their finals campaigns!
