What a fantastic morning our team had taking part in the Alstonville Wollongbar Fun Run last Sunday!

It was great to see SLL members getting active, supporting each other and enjoying a little friendly competition along the way.

Thank you so much to Fire and Rescue NSW Station 204 Alstonville for coming along for the THIRD year running (pun intended 😆) to the Alstonville Wollongbar Fun Run. The Community, tall and small, all enjoy having you there. And watching you race around the oval in the Community Relay was a definite highlight of the day. The best of community spirit on show! Thanks 🚒 204!!! 🏃🧡

We were honoured, humbled and a little bit excited to receive a nomination for Community Event of the Year at Ballina Shire Council's Australia Day Awards. Especially as we've only been doing this for two years. It was a great way to recognise our committee members' efforts and the countless hours they volunteer to make the day a success. Congratulations to the winners of each category this year. There were some incredible nominees and we're honoured to have been amongst them. Thank you to our sponsors over the last two years and all the local businesses, community groups and people who have helped make it a success each year. Bring on 2026!
