Comprising of 5 football teams and 7 netball teams competing on a Saturday for premiership glory. Brief History of AFNC -
Allansford Football Netball Club was originally two separate clubs being Allansfrod Football Club and West End Football Club, dating back to 1899 and 1904 respectively. With Allansford winning premierships in 1920, 1927, 1930, 1951, 1956 & 1957 and West End winning in 1910, 1932, 1933 ,1936, 1937, 1941, 1948 - 1955 (8 in a row) and 1962.
1971 saw the amalgamation of the two clubs forming West End Allansford Football Club. With the club shifting from Walter Oval out to Allansford Rec Reserve in 1977 after extensive works to bring the oval & facilities up to scratch. This proved to be a very successful merger with a premiership in the first year, 1971, as well as in 1976, 1980, 1971, 1983 and 1987, which is our last senior premiership victory. In 1991 Netball was introduced to the WDFNL competition, with A Resrve & B grade winning premierships in 2010, but we are still hunting for our maiden A Grade Premiership.
2000 saw the dropping of West End now know as the Allansford Football Netball Club wearing blue and white hoops with the Cat being our emblem.
