Vale Tania Walsh

On behalf of the Board, Management, Officials, Volunteers and Members of Premier Speedway, we extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Tania Walsh, who has sadly passed away following a courageous battle with cancer.

Tania was a valued member of Premier Speedway and a familiar face and a friend to everybody at Premier Speedway. Her presence around our venue and her connection with so many within our speedway community will be sadly missed.

Our thoughts are with Freddy, Carly, Blake, and all of Tania’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. We hope they can find comfort in the memories they shared with Tania and the impact she had on the lives of so many people.

Rest peacefully, Tania. You will be sadly missed.

BROCK HALLETT JOINS SPRINTCAR SPEEDWEEK 🙌

We are super excited to host Brock Hallett and his GW Racing team for the Speedweek series this coming season.
Brock is the reigning Midfield Group Sprintcar Track Champion and will certainly be one to watch during the Sprintcar Speedweek Series.

🚨Premier Speedway to host 2028 Australian 360-LS Sprintcar Championship.

Premier Speedway is pleased to announce that it has secured the rights to host the 2027/28 Australian 360-LS Sprintcar Championship at Sungold Stadium.

Premier Speedway submitted a proposal to the SCCA and last weekend we were successful in our attempt, as voted at the SCCA Conference.

The event is scheduled to be ran on the 18th & 19th of February 2028, with practice and Calcutta to be held on Thursday 17th February 2028.

Premier Speedway is delighted to host this event and thank the SCCA for the opportunity.

Premier Speedway is saddened to hear of the passing of Leigh Barry Mugavin this week.

Leigh was a valued competitor who raced at Premier Speedway over many years and was a familiar face within our racing community. His passion for speedway and his contribution to the sport will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

On behalf of the Premier Speedway Board, management, officials, volunteers, competitors and supporters, we extend our sincere condolences to Leigh's family, friends and loved ones during this difficult time.

Leigh's presence at the track will be greatly missed, but the memories he created and the friendships he formed throughout his years in speedway will live on.
