After bringing home Division 2 bronze in 2025, the NT Buffaloes Women are preparing to return to the Queensland Women’s State Titles; and we want people from across the Territory to be part of the journey!

Whether you’re looking to contribute on the diamond or behind the scenes, this is your opportunity to represent the NT and help build on last year’s success.

📣 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! ⚾

With the 2026/27 baseball season fast approaching, Alice Springs Baseball Association is calling out for volunteers! 🙌

Whether it’s Seniors or Juniors, we need your help to keep our club thriving and make the upcoming season a great one for everyone.

There are plenty of ways you can get involved — from coaching and scoring to committee work, game-day duties and general helping hands. No matter how much time you can spare, every bit of help makes a difference!

After a hard-fought 9-6 loss to the Cairns Cyclones yesterday, the Alice Springs Eagles finished the round stage with a record of 1 win, 1 loss, and 1 tie.

It's now do-or-die as we take on the Cairns Cyclones again today in the semi-final, with a place in the Gold Medal Game on the line.

🌴⚾ The Barrier Reef Tournament is underway! ⚾🌴

The Alice Springs Eagles kicked off the tournament yesterday with a strong start, finishing Day 1 with 1 win and 1 tie.

Our Alice Springs Senior Team is heading to Cairns to compete in the Great Barrier Reef Tournament 2026, where they’ll take on some of the best teams from across the country.

We wish the team the very best of luck as they proudly represent Alice Springs on and off the field. Play hard, enjoy the experience, and make some unforgettable memories!

REPRESENTATIVE SEASON WRAPPED 🦬⚾

As we close the book on our most recent representative season, Baseball NT would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has played a part in what has been a huge period for Territory baseball.

From the return of the NT Buffaloes Women’s team at the 2025 Queensland Women’s State Titles, where our women pulled on the Buffs uniform for the first time in over a decade and brought home Bronze, through to our Senior League Emerging team claiming Silver at the 2026 Queensland State Titles, this season has been full of moments that show the direction our pathway is heading.

We also saw Territory players and staff continue to earn opportunities on the national stage, with Libby Price, Zoe Webb and Maddie Patrick representing the Roos at the Australian Women’s Championships, Gemma Scales joining the Roos coaching staff, Hannah Fior representing Queensland at the Australian Youth Women’s Championships, and Narelle Gosstray playing a key leadership role as Tournament Director across championship week.

Our Little League Buffaloes then proudly represented the Territory at the Australian Little League Championships, continuing to build on the work of previous years and capping off their campaign by being awarded the Sportsmanship Award; a reflection of the way our players, coaches and families represent the NT on and off the field.

Across every event, none of this happens without the people behind the scenes.
Thank you to our players for the effort, commitment and pride you showed in representing the Territory.

Thank you to our coaches, scorers, executive officers and support staff for the countless hours that go into preparing teams, managing travel, keeping everyone organised, and creating positive experiences for our athletes.

Thank you to our families, clubs, volunteers, associations and supporters across Darwin, Alice Springs and beyond for continuing to back our players and programs.
And thank you to Baseball Queensland, Baseball Australia and the host organisations for continuing to provide meaningful opportunities for Territory athletes to compete, grow and stay connected to the national pathway.

The results matter, but the bigger picture matters more; more athletes getting opportunities, more coaches developing, more families involved, and more Territory players showing they belong in these environments.

We are incredibly proud of everyone involved.
Now, we shift our focus forward.

The next round of representative events kicks off in December, and we can’t wait to keep building from here.
