Lawn Bowls Update 🌿

What a lovely day on the green with 20 players enjoying a great game of lawn bowls! 🎉

It was fantastic to see some of our Thursday night bowlers joining us. Well done to our place-getters:
🥇 Jason – 1st place
🥈 Katharine – 2nd place
🥉 Phil – 3rd place, after a playoff with Bill.

With the temperatures starting to rise, Saturday bowls will change from next week to 9:00 am for a 9:30 am start. ☀️

Thursday bowls will also move to mornings from next week.

Eight players enjoyed some fantastic bowling, with plenty of excitement on the fast-running green. It was especially great to see Ron back on the rink—and he made his return even sweeter by taking home the prize money! 💰👏

🌿 Lawn Bowls – Farewell to Wendy 🌿

On Saturday 5th September, we are having a send-off to say goodbye to Wendy. 💚

After bowls, we’ll get together for some drinks, followed by dinner at 6:30 pm.

🍽️ If you are joining us for dinner, please let Yvonne know so we can book a seat for you.

Everyone is welcome to come along and help us give Wendy a wonderful farewell! 🥂😊

🏆 Lawn Bowls Finals Day! 🏆

Today we played the quarter finals, semi finals and finals in both divisions — the Championship Draw and the Plate Draw.

It was perfect conditions for bowling, with the sun shining and everyone enjoying a great day on the greens. ☀️🎳

In the Plate Draw, Ligi and Scott battled it out, with Scott taking the win. Congratulations, Scott! 👏

In the Championship Draw, Pat and Josh played a great final, with Pat coming away as the winner. Well done, Pat! 👏

Congratulations to everyone who played this weekend. There were lots of bowls, plenty of great games and, most importantly, lots of fun! 🎉

Singles Competition – Day 1 🥣

A fantastic first day of our singles competition! We saw some excellent and closely contested games before the rain forced play to stop around lunchtime.

It was certainly a cold winter’s day, but everyone enjoyed the competition and some great bowls.

More games are scheduled for tomorrow, and we’re looking forward to another day on the green!

We had 8 players out on the green today enjoying perfect weather and a great game of lawn bowls 🎯

It was great to see Bryan back before heading down south — safe travels, Bryan 👋

A warm welcome to our new player, Karl — great to have you with us 😊

Most players managed to hit the jack, with some excellent bowling throughout. Congratulations to Geoff, who won the money today 🏆💰

Another enjoyable day on the green. Everyone is welcome — come along and join the fun 🧿

Due to the Henley on Todd time change and people being busy, only 4 players attended lawn bowls today.

We played pairs, with Ligi and Bernice taking the win 🏆🎉

Despite the small group, we had a fun morning and enjoyed the cooler weather 🍃🎳

Thursday evening social bowls is still happening! Last night we had 9 players turn up for a fun night of bowling. It was great to see so much improvement from everyone. 👏

Everyone is welcome, so bring your friends, come along and have some fun!

Thursday Afternoon Bowls 🏆

Eight players, two games, and everyone managed to hit the jack — some of us more than once! 😄

We had lovely weather and plenty of good bowls and good company. Yvonne took home the money, and it was a great afternoon all round.
