Street Roller Hockey League Sydney

This Saturday July 18 join us for hockey, BBQ and a day of fun in the sun at our Golden Crate Tournment.

Whether you're a seasoned hockey player or a beginner wondering how to get started this is the day for you. Teams of 3 are randomly selected on the day and they play off in a round robin tournament with the top teams playing off for the Golden Crate.

SRHLS has hockey for all skill levels. We just had a top weekend:
- Saturday development for skaters new to hockey
- Saturday open drop-in for new and experienced skaters
- Sunday travel team training scrimmage with our friends from Maroubra

And even more hockey to come! We are planning our next interstate trip for The Sydney Beers, adding more friends to our development program, and, new skaters joining our 4 home teams for 2026 season 2 starting 25th July.

Before we start our season we are having one of our famous Golden Crate Tournaments on July 18.

How good was the weather for drop-in yesterday? It might be the off-season but our regular Tuesday and Saturday drop-ins are still on 🏒

Just because the season is over doesn't mean that hockey is over.

9:30am development skaters arrive
10am development session starts
11am drop in (first 30 mins development focused)

All of this is at Sydenham basketball courts.

Then in the evening we have:

4pm AGM and a feed at the Townie (all members welcome to attend)
6pm celebrate the end of the season with pub crawl down King Street

SRHLS season 1 is a wrap, with season 2 starting in a month there is plenty going on during the off season:

- Season 2 opener Saturday July 25th
- Saturdays development program continues 10am start, open drop-in from 11am, the first 30 mins of which are development squad focus until season 2 start.
- July 4th AGM 4pm @ The Townie King St Newtown
- July 4th End of Season Drinks 6pm @ Websters Bar King st Newtown
- July 12th Sunday The Beers visit Heffron Park training scrim
- July 18th Golden crate Community tournament & BBQ open to all
- Tuesdays continue to be awesome. 6:30pm drop-in @ Rockdale. Every 2nd cancelled Tuesday we go to pub trivia at the Mitch.

We will also aim to join World Rollout Day. Large Street Skating event with the city skate crew. July 26th Sunday 11am, 12pm rollout.
