Albury Aikido Shudokan Newsletter

It’s been fantastic to see the continued growth at Albury Aikido Shudokan over the past months. We’ve welcomed a number of new members onto the mat. That steady influx of beginners alongside our experienced practitioners has created a really positive dynamic—one where learning, mentoring, and improvement are happening naturally at every level. It’s a strong sign of a healthy club, and it’s great to see everyone contributing to such a supportive training environment.

The shift to a 6:00pm start time has proven to be a real success for the club. Having all of our student train at the same time has made a big difference in class focus and individual improvement. Beyond that, it’s helped strengthen the social side of the dojo as well—people are arriving with more energy, staying a little longer after class, and building stronger connections off the mat. That sense of camaraderie is a core part of what makes training here enjoyable and sustainable.

Hello all! Due to the continued heat here in Albury, we need to continue to postpone our start date for 2026. With the heat and the low roof over the dojo, the health and safety of our students must come first.

Please keep an eye out for our start date on our FB page and the website. Osu

Welcome to 2026 from Albury Aikido Shudokan

We would like to wish all of our members, families, and supporters a very happy and healthy 2026. We hope everyone enjoyed a relaxing Christmas and New Year period.

At this stage, there is no confirmed return date for training due to the heat under the low tin roof.

Please continue to keep an eye on our website and page for the official restart announcement. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to the mat very soon.
Thank you for your continued support — we are excited for another strong year of training ahead.
