Join us this Saturday at the Albury Hockey Fields to celebrate our Senior Spitfire teams 2026 season! Both teams take on Central with the Women kicking us off at 1230pm followed by the Men at 2pm! Get on down, grab a drink from the Hanger Bar and enjoy some quality hockey!
This weekend, we celebrate a true legend of Albury hockey.
Leigh Foulston — affectionately known to us all as as Leigh Leigh is a much-loved teammate, clubman and all-round champion of the game, Leigh has certainly left his mark on the Spitties and Albury hockey.

A cracker of a winter's day for hockey as our Ladies took on an evenly matched OCHC outfit, with both sides putting on a real contest let's see what Coach Craig has to say!
Spitfires opened the scoring through a well-worked penalty corner, Liv finishing off a slick deflection from an accurate feed by Elisha. OCHC hit back in the second half and the game turned into an arm wrestle, with neither side able to find a breakthrough.
Best on Ground: Payton - a rock solid game in defence while constantly sparking our attack.
And a huge thank you and farewell to our captain Alissa, who's off to Melbourne for work. Thank you for your leadership on and off the pitch - good luck for the next chapter! 💚💛

With the second last game of the season taking the Spitfire Men to Goulburn check out what Captain Leigh thinks about the game!
A chilly start to the day (made even chillier due to wet uniforms — thanks Rizz) couldn't slow this team down. After a bit of skilled coaching in the change rooms, the Spitfires came out firing and dominated the attacking play in the 1st quarter.
Goulburn opened the scoring first in what was an incredibly physical contest from the first whistle. Co-captain Rizz got us on the board with an absolute missile of a flick into the backboard off a short corner. Goulburn hit back to edge in front again, but Hobbsy stood up when it mattered - burying a stroke with zero doubt about it.
2-2 final score after a full four quarters of effort from everyone.
BOG awarded to Charlie for his superman like saves, constant talking and absolute superhuman efforts in goals!

A tough day in the office for our Spitfire Men against St Pats, see what BOG of the day Charlie Dunstan has to say!
St Pats came out firing from the very first whistle, finding the back of the net within the opening few minutes.
Spittys responded with plenty of heart and determination. With a great mix of experienced players and young talent taking to the field, the team dug deep and refused to give up.
Despite the scoreboard not going our way, Spittys continued to push, chase and fight for every ball right until the final whistle. St Pats proved too strong on the day.
A massive shout out to Al who stepped up in style to score Spittys goal!
A tough result, but plenty of effort, determination and team spirit on display.
BOG went to Charlie for a stellar performance in goals saving and never give up attitude, saving over 60 shots on goal!
