π Vale Josh Power π
It is with broken hearts that St Patrickβs Cricket Club shares the passing of our much loved, Josh Power.
Josh played 104 games for SPCC, scoring 1,279 runs with a highest score of 83. More than the numbers, Joshy will be remembered for the smile, spirit and mateship he brought to our club every time he stepped onto the field.
One of his most memorable moments came in the 2021 Grand Final. With the team in trouble, Josh produced a quick-fire 26 runs to give us a chance heading into the second innings, before going on to take the final wicket to secure the premiership β¦a moment that will live with our club forever.
At just 19 years of age, Josh was taken far too soon.
Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his parents Simon and Jenny and his siblings Abigail, Isabella and Kobe during this incredibly difficult time.
A service to celebrate Joshβs life will be held at Howlong Football Ground on Wednesday, May 6 at 11:00am, followed by a burial at Howlong Cemetery and a return to the oval.
Rest easy, Joshy Power.
Forever part of the SPCC family.
