πΉπ΄β€οΈ MORE THAN JUST A TEAM β THIS IS OUR COMMUNITY. β€οΈπΉπ΄
These photos capture what Team Tonga has always been about β family, culture, pride, unity and community.
From our juniors taking their first steps onto the field, to our women, men, families, coaches, volunteers and supporters, every jersey has carried the pride of our Tongan community here in Victoria. πΉπ΄
Weβve shared the early mornings, the late nights, the wins, the tough moments, the laughter, the celebrations and the memories that will stay with us forever.
πΉπ΄ NOTICE TO OUR WONDERFUL VICTORIA TONGAN COMMUNITY πΉπ΄
Due to several enquiries and messages, we would like to let our community know that we will not be managing Team Tongaβs entry for the 2026 NRL VIC Harmony Cup.
Unfortunately, due to our commitments with the Junior Pacific Tournament and an upcoming tour, we simply donβt have the capacity to take on the Harmony Cup this year.
We also acknowledge that the Harmony Cup format has changed this year, with the event moving to a non-competition format across all age groups entering. With these changes, along with our existing commitments, we have made the decision not to participate in a management capacity for 2026.
We would like to wish NRL Victoria and the Harmony Cup team all the very best for the 2026 event and thank everyone in our Tongan community for your continued support and understanding.
We look forward to being back and representing our community for Harmony Cup 2027! πΉπ΄β€οΈ
This may be a pause for 2026, but it is not goodbye.
MΔlΕ βaupito to every player, coach, manager, volunteer, parent, family and supporter who has been part of the Team Tonga journey.
One team. One community. One Tonga. πΉπ΄β€οΈ
MΔlΕ βaupito β and see you in 2027!
