What happens when you stop seeing the therapy room as the limit of your professional impact?

Join Ali + Sky for a one-day Beyond the Therapy Room™ Workshop.

A day for psychologists, therapists and helping professionals who know there is more they want to create — but aren’t quite sure what that looks like yet.

Together, we’ll explore:

WHO AM I?
Your professional identity beyond the therapist role.

HOW DO I NATURALLY CREATE IMPACT?
Your strengths, your natural way of contributing and your unique Impact Signature™.

WHAT DO I WANT TO BE KNOWN FOR?
Your deeper purpose, message and contribution.

WHAT COULD THIS BECOME?
Explore the possibilities — workshops, speaking, mentoring, groups, programs, content, books, leadership and more.

AND WHAT’S NEXT?
Leave with a clearer direction and a 30-day action plan.

This isn’t about leaving psychology or your helping profession.

It’s about expanding what your expertise can become.

The photo kind of says it all 😂

Me: in your face, animated, ADHD brain, probably talking with my whole body.

Ali: calm, grounded, thoughtful… quietly bringing everyone back down to earth.

And honestly?

That’s the point.

We don’t have the same personality.
We don’t think the same way.
We don’t communicate the same way.
We don’t bring the same perspective to our work.

And we don’t need to.

Because growing beyond the therapy room isn’t about becoming some polished, confident, business version of a therapist.

It’s about figuring out what YOU bring.

Maybe you’re the big ideas person.
Maybe you’re the quiet thinker.
Maybe you love teaching.
Maybe you’re a natural speaker.
Maybe you see things other people miss.

There is no one personality that belongs beyond the therapy room.

There is no one right way to grow.

The goal isn’t to become more like someone else.

It’s to create something that actually fits you.

And that’s what Beyond the Therapy Room is all about. ❤️

You are allowed to outgrow the version of you that kept you safe.

Even the version who built a successful career inside the therapy room.

The version who believed being a good clinician meant seeing more clients.

Taking more referrals.

Doing more training.

Getting better at therapy.

Staying in the lane you were taught was “professional.”

But what if your next chapter isn’t about becoming a better therapist?

What if it’s about becoming more of who you are beyond the therapy room?

The educator.
The speaker.
The writer.
The creator.
The consultant.
The supervisor.
The business owner.
The leader.
The person with ideas that don’t fit neatly into a 50-minute session.

Your psychology degree gave you a profession.

It didn’t give you a lifetime obligation to stay in one version of it.

And sometimes the hardest part of building something beyond therapy isn’t the business strategy.

It’s letting go of the identity that tells you:

“This is what people like me do.”

You are allowed to want a career that looks different.

You are allowed to expand your impact.

You are allowed to build something that doesn’t require you to be in the therapy room all day.

You are allowed to outgrow the version of you that kept you safe.

The therapy room can be part of your story without being the whole story.

If you’re ready to explore what’s next beyond the therapy room, that’s exactly the work I do with clinicians through identity-first mentoring.

You don’t need another course.

You don’t need to wait until you feel confident.

You don’t need someone to give you permission.

You might just need to stop letting the identity that made you a great clinician decide what you’re allowed to become next.

Got an idea you can’t stop thinking about?

Maybe it’s time we worked on you — not another business strategy.

If you’re ready to build what’s next beyond the therapy room, I’m ready to work with you.

We had a room full of women.

Different stories.
Different ages.
Different lives.

But so many of them had the same quiet realisation:

They had spent a lot of their lives being who they thought they were supposed to be.

Good daughters.
Good partners.
Good mothers.
Good employees.
Good women.

And somewhere along the way, they’d lost touch with the woman underneath all of that.

So we spent the day getting curious.

About identity.
About what they actually wanted.
About the rules they’d been living by.
About what might be possible if they stopped waiting for permission.

There was laughter.
There were tears.
There was honesty.
And there was a whole lot of “holy sh*t… I’ve never thought about it like that.”

Looking back, I realise that workshop was about so much more than empowerment.

It was about remembering yourself.

And honestly?

That’s still the work I care about most.

Helping people step outside the version of themselves they’ve outgrown — and figure out who they actually want to become.

Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do isn’t fix ourselves.

It’s meet ourselves again.
