A huge congratulations to Lily Koch on her Australian SC Record in the girls 100m Breaststroke!

Lily delivered an outstanding performance in the G17 100m Breaststroke Final at Vic Age SC Championships, clocking 1:05:66 to have her name recorded in the history books again after setting a record for 50m Breaststroke. What an amazing achievement 👏 We couldn't be more proud. 🫶

After two exhausting days of racing, the final day of the Championships saw our swimmers step up their games and race against some tough competitors. The energy level was high and the results matched it. You have made us proud. 🫶

It has been a very successful campaign for the club. We placed 7th in Victoria. Congratulations to all swimmers who put out their best efforts in this meet. Thank you to the coaching team for your time on the pool deck. Also, thank you to the TMs, parents volunteers and the whole MVC family. We couldn't do it without your support. 🌟MVC State Cap Presentation 🌟

The club has created a new State Swim Cap in time for Vic Age. With a blue racing stripe (National is Red), this new cap will also give our Bronze squad swimmers something to work towards in their swimming journey. Today, we had a Dolphin and top Australian swimmer in Jamie Perkins who visited the club. She kindly spoke about her swimmer journey (which included training with Head Coach Richard Sleight) and then presented our State qualifiers with the new State Cap.

Well done to all our swimmers who competed at Metros SC 2026 and represented MVC with pride.

We had 21 swimmers last year and 55 swimmers this year. The club was ranked 5th in combined scores after 2 exhausting days of racing, a huge improvement from 14th place at last SC Metros. This is a credit to our swimmers' hard work and the dedication of our coaching team. And of course, we can't thank our parent volunteers enough for their help. 🫶 Go team MVC ❤️🤍💙
