Father’s Day Laser Run Fun at the Springfield School! 🏃‍♀️🎯

Yesterday, Jawid joined the Springfield School Father’s Day celebrations, introducing more than 100 staff to the excitement of Laser Run! 🎯🏃‍♂️

It was fantastic to see so many staff getting involved, having fun and experiencing a taste of Modern Pentathlon.

The excitement doesn’t stop there! 🙌

We’re also running a regular Pentathlon training program every Wednesday on the school oval, giving students the opportunity to develop their skills, fitness and confidence while enjoying this exciting multi-discipline sport.

A huge thank you to Springfield School for welcoming us and helping us grow the sport within the school community! 💙

What a fabulous result for Chloe Heit, claiming 🥉 BRONZE in the U15 Women’s 3km at the UIPM Obstacle World Championships! 🌎🏃‍♀️

Chloe crossed the line in an impressive 20:43.19 to secure a well-deserved place on the world championship podium! 👏🔥

Milanke Haasbroek has been keeping busy away from the pentathlon, competing at the 2026 Australian Athletics Cross Country Championships on Saturday 22 August.

🔥 Women U14 3km Individual: 7th – 12:10
🥇 U14 Mixed Relay: National Champions
🥉 U14 Girls Team: 3rd, alongside teammates Ava MacGowan and Elodie Tehennepe

A fantastic weekend of racing for Milanke, showing her versatility and competitive spirit across multiple disciplines. Well done, Milanke! 👏

Growing the Sport in Queensland

Maki Takken facilitated a fantastic Come & Try Day at the Milton State School Fair on the Green, introducing students and families to Modern Pentathlon.

It’s great to see our sport gaining such strong traction within the Queensland school system and creating new opportunities for young athletes to get involved.

A big thank you to Maki for helping showcase the sport and inspire the next generation of pentathletes!

Our young Australians have arrived in Beijing and are now preparing for the UIPM Obstacle World Championships.

After their recent performances in Guiyang, Oli Clapham, Kai Klisanin and Levi Tubailagi are ready to take on another international challenge as they compete against the world’s best obstacle athletes.
