Last weekend, two U19 Boys teams proudly represented the Monsoons on the Gold Coast at the Volleyball Queensland Junior State Championships! 🏐

A huge congratulations to both teams on their fantastic performances, finishing:
🥇 U19 Boys Division 1 – 9th Place
🥇 U19 Boys Division 2 – 9th Place

Thank you to everyone who made this program possible – our athletes, families, supporters, and volunteers. A special shoutout goes to coaches Ben Sheehy and Brandon Spence, along with team manager Caleb McCallough, for their dedication and hard work throughout the campaign.

We are incredibly proud of the way our athletes represented the blue and yellow both on and off the court. 💙💛

🏐🎉 A few weeks ago, we wrapped up an awesome season by crowning our B Grade Indoor Mixed League Champions! 🏆
A huge congratulations to Diggers in Paris on taking out the grand final! 👏💪 What a fantastic effort throughout the season.
A big thank you to everyone who played, supported, refereed, and helped make Season 1 such a success.

Yesterday we had our A Grade Mixed Social League Grand Finals, and what an awesome way to finish the season! 🙌🔥

A huge congratulations to all teams who made it through to Grand Final Week 👏👏 and well done to our champions, runners-up, and third-place finishers across both divisions 🥇🥈🥉

🏆 WOMEN’S LEAGUE SEASON 1 GRAND FINAL 🏆

A huge congratulations to Kiss My Ace — our Women’s League Season 1 Champions! 👏

They delivered an outstanding grand final performance, taking out the win 3 sets to 0 and finishing the season in style. A massive effort from the whole team and a well-deserved result! 🔥🏐

Thank you to all teams, players, referees, volunteers, and supporters who helped make this season such a success. The level of competition, sportsmanship, and energy on court has been fantastic to see.

Volleyball Queensland is bringing Volleyball Australia Level 2 Coaching and Refereeing Courses to Townsville this June.

Get ready for two big days of volleyball, skill-building, teamwork, and fun at our upcoming Townsville Camp with Volleyball Queensland!

📅 Tuesday 30 June & Wednesday 1 July 2026
👥 Open to Years 6–11 athletes
📍 Upper Ross PCYC, Rasmussen
💲 $100 per athlete
🏐 36 girls spots + 36 boys spots available

Athletes will take part in dedicated training sessions designed to help them develop their skills, build confidence, and enjoy plenty of time on court with other young volleyballers.

Boys and girls will participate in alternating sessions across the two days, so start and finish times may vary each day.

✅ VQ Membership required— Recreational level only.
