Did you hear about yesterday's news? Motorcycling Tasmania Inc's squads for the MA Motocross State Challenge at this year's MXGP of Australia is now live!

Returning in 2026, the event within an event provides yet another opportunity for the nation’s brightest juniors to perform in front of the world championship riders, teams and managers.
Every state controlling body in Australia, representing the Northern Territory, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, Western Australia and Queensland, will field teams in the challenge: up to six riders apiece in the MX85 (12-16yrs) and MX3 (14-U18yrs) developmental classes.
And just like last year, Motorcycling Tasmania Inc is the first cab off the rank to announce its team!
Motorcycling Tasmania manager, Ben Wilson, said: “Congratulations to every rider selected to represent Tasmania. Enjoy every moment and give it everything you’ve got. We can’t wait to see what team Tasmania achieves in Darwin.”
The balance of the 2026 MA Motocross State Challenge teams will be announced over the next few weeks.

Veterans’ affairs: for one round only!

A reminder that the final round of at Queensland Moto Park on August 1-2 will also feature two Australian championships for veterans in the 30-39 and 40-plus age groups.

Both MXV classes are All Powers, with the electric Stark Varg even tasting championship success in 2024 with Luke Reardon at the helm.

Entries remain open for the 2026 QMP finale via RiderNet, and close on July 26.
