Who's ready to get back out on the field? Join us on Monday 13 July at 6:00pm for Fun 4's & Come Try Touch.

Whether you've played for years or you've never picked up a touch footy before, we'd love to have you along. Come for a run, meet our members and see what Whitsunday Touch is all about.

We're a Footy for Fun club. We love great footy, great people and making everyone feel welcome.

I’d encourage every coach to include a “life lesson” that ever player will need in adulthood. Communication is more than a tool for winning matches—it’s one of the most powerful life lessons we can teach as coaches, because it shapes who our players become long after they stop lacing up their boots. On the field, communication builds trust, clarity, and connection, but its deeper purpose is teaching players how to listen, empathize, support others, and lead with humility—core elements of servant leadership. When players learn to encourage a teammate after a mistake, organize a defensive shape, or speak with confidence in pressure moments, they’re actually learning how to collaborate in future workplaces, build healthy relationships, and contribute to their communities. Our responsibility as coaches is to make that connection explicit: the habits they build in training—respect, honesty, accountability, compassion—are the same habits that will define their character in life.
