Anaconda Whitsunday Trail Fest is organised by the Whitsunday Running Club~Event Date September 13 2026
The Conway circuit takes you on a 28km journey, through some beautiful scenery of the Conway National Park with it starting at Brandy Creek, and finishing at Airlie Beach. Designed as a 3-day hike, there are camping facilities, toilets and water at strategic locations along the track. Pre Race Information: Saturday 12th September - Race Precinct (Airlie Beach Saturday Markets)
7:00 AM – Airlie Beach Parkrun – Coral Sea Marina
9:00 AM to 10:00 AM – Anaconda Stores – Cannonvale Bib Collection; Whitsunday Plaza, Tenancy FS003/8 Galbraith Park Rd, Cannonvale QLD 4802
2:00 PM to 5:00 PM – Whitsunday Trail Fest Race Precinct Registration/Late Entries/Race Pack collection from the race precinct; Airlie Beach Foreshore, Airlie Beach; QLD – Sound Stage

4:30 AM - Competitors for WTF58 (ages 18 plus) meet at the race precinct.
4:45 AM - Race briefing for WTF58 (ages 18 plus)
5:00 AM - START – WTF58 Accom Whitsunday Ultra Trail Competitors
5:15 AM - WTF 28 runners arrive to board bus’s
5:30 AM – WTF28 bus’s commerce depart from Race Precinct to Brandy Creek
6:45 AM - WTF28 Anaconda Whitsunday Trail race briefing at Brandy Creek (ages 18 plus)
7:00 AM - START – WTF28 Anaconda Whitsunday Trail from Brandy Creek
8:30 AM - Race Briefing for Honeyeater Shokz Challenge
9:00 AM - START – Honeyeater Shokz Challenge 11k (ages 15 plus)
10:20 AM -Bendigo Community Bank KIDS BEACH BASH RACE BRIEFING
10:25 AM - Mascot Race
Bendigo Community Bank Beach Bash races start following the Mascot Race
10:30 AM - START – Bendigo Community Bank Beach Bash (ages 8 +) 1 Mile
10:45 AM - START – Bendigo Community Bank Junior Kids Beach Bash (ages 4 +) 700m - Following the Kids Beach Bash
12:00 PM - Presentations commence for the top 3 female and male winners of the Kids Beach Bash, WTF 11k, WTF28k & WTF 58k
3:00 PM - END of all races

Hi all, this is a map of the new start and finish from the start of the honey eater stairs to the start/finish line. This is different from previous years as we now go up and down the man st instead of around the back of Paterson way. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out.

Have done a course check on the weekend (with just under 1 month togo) and all looking good. A video the course is below for the 28km,(also showing the change of the course towards the finish) obviously the 56 is the same track but starting at the finish line and going out and back.
