Congratulations to club stalwart Stefan Trbovic who will play his 150th game for Raptors against Para Hills United at 3pm this Sunday

Stefan Trbovic arrived at Raptors in 2014, he was brought to the club by then Cs coach George Pishas. Stef had played juniors at Beograd, Blue Eagles and Salisbury United.
It wasn’t long before Stef was goalkeeping for the A’s, and in 2015 he was an important cog with some standout performances in between the sticks as the A’s won the Div 3 Premiership.

In 2016, he took a back seat for a few years playing only when called upon and choosing to line up on the field for the C’s. During this time Stef became a committee member and his family bakery: Black Forest Bakery has sponsored us for close to 10 years now. He went on to coach the C's in 2019 and brought his brother Sasa out, who like Stef would rather play outfield than in goals.

Stef’s output on the field was only exceeded off the pitch with weekly goods from his family bakery. He fuelled the Serbian – Greek debate at the club for over a decade which still continues today of what is better Burek or Tiropita.

In 2023 under his favourite Raptors coach Vas Parhas he had a renaissance in the A’s, playing some of his best soccer. In 2026 he still presents where required be it for the A’s, B's, C's or in the kitchen. A true club legend, well done Stef.

West Adelaide Raptors would like to congratulate Kyle Theodoroulakes on reaching 50 appearances for the club over the weekend against West Beach!

Kyle joined the Raptors in 2023 and immediately made himself a key figure in the first team. In 2024 despite playing just 13 games that year, still finished in the top five of our Best & Fairest count. In 2025, he was part of our Sunday Division 2 premiership-winning side.

Over his four seasons at the club, Kyle has earned the nickname “Mr. Reliable” on and off the field… that is, when he’s actually available (he’s missed the better part of a season’s worth of fixtures along the way).

Congratulations Kyle, we look forward to seeing many more appearances in the Raptors kit!

What a way to celebrate your 200th game for Raptors.

The C2’s got up 4-3 last Friday night against Tea Tree Gully in Jimi’s 200th!!

After being 3-1 down after 30 mins, the boys sparked a second half comeback starting with a Pandeli penalty in the 65th minute followed by a Stefan Trbovic free-kick (yes you read that right) to equalise at 3-3.

A minute later, Jason Pazios completed his brace with a bullet header which ended up being the winner.

Once again congratulations to the boys who fought hard to win the game after being down and out.

And another huge congrats to Jimi who inspired a come from behind win in his milestone game!

Congratulations to club stalwart, current C2 player-coach James Tsarouhas who will play his 200th game for the club tonight against Tea Tree Gully!

Jimi played his very first game for the ISC Raptors against Beograd for the C2’s in 2009 under Vag Lambrinos. Just coming out of high school at the ripe age of 18 years old, Jimi would go on to finish runner up in the C2’s best and fairest in 2010, losing to older brother Arthur by 3 votes.

Luckily for him he would only have to wait 3 years before winning the C’s Best and Fairest in 2013 under coach Jamie LeMura. This accomplishment catapulted James as he rose through the ranks, cementing his place in Jamie McCance’s reserves team and being anointed vice captain in 2015.

In 2016 he finally made his A’s debut against Southern Knights in Division 2, a reward for his determination and grit. By now Jimi was a part of the furniture at the club. He was a very reliable player who could do a job on any day and always put his hand up to do whatever was needed for the team.

By 2018 he was rewarded with captain’s armband by coach Bill Moularas in the C Grade where his leadership attributes were put to very good use. He was once a teenager building his way into the squad, but by now he was leading the next generation of players, and he continues to do that today as he takes charge of our C2’s, 17 years after he joined.

200 games cannot be understated. It is an absolutely huge achievement and a testament to James’ loyalty and commitment to the club.
