Winter is teaching me to tend to what’s inside.

When the weather turns inward, I notice what’s ready to be released — clutter, noise, old stories.

Making space is its own kind of care.

What’s winter teaching you? 🌿

Winter is…
teaching me to slow down.
Not as a rule or a discipline, but as a quiet invitation.
These colder weeks have a way of softening the pace — asking us to do less, notice more, and make space for what’s happening inside.
There’s a kind of wisdom in this season.
A reminder that rest isn’t a luxury, and clarity often arrives when we stop pushing so hard.
As I move through June, I’m listening to that rhythm — letting things unfold a little more gently, a little more spaciously.

This week has been all about slowing down — letting winter be winter, nourishing ourselves with simple food, and finding steadiness in the small moments.

If your mind has been feeling full, scattered, or stretched thin, this upcoming workshop is designed to help you breathe again.
Declutter Your Life: Clear Your Mental Load

A gentle, psychology‑informed session where we explore:
• the silent to‑do list
• the emotional load you carry
• why your brain feels so “full”
• practical ways to create space, clarity, and ease

It’s not about productivity.
It’s about feeling human again.

Sunday 16 June, 10 am – 12 pm, Payneham

This week unfolded in a soft rhythm.
On Monday, a quiet public holiday invited slower breaths and a gentler pace.
On Wednesday, a simple wholefoods cook‑up reminded me how grounding it can be to share food, laugh, and make something warm together.
Both moments held the same truth in different ways — that nourishment isn’t only physical or emotional. Sometimes it’s the pause, the presence, the small space where you can feel yourself again.
Inner steadiness grows in these quiet places.
The ordinary ones.
The deeply human ones.

Weekend wholefoods cook‑up — chickpea and feta bruschetta, san choy bow, and a broccoli–carrot salad with yoghurt dressing.
Simple food, good company, and a lot of laughter.

Today I turned that salad into soup — zero waste, high protein, winter comfort.
It feels good to build our health and wellbeing in ways that are practical and real.

A quiet public holiday in SA today.

Letting the pace slow, letting the breath deepen, letting winter be winter.

“Sometimes the most important thing in a whole day
is the rest we take between two deep breaths.”

Winter’s suddenly here and I’m letting my feelings move with it… slowly, honestly, and without forcing anything.

This morning the sun broke through the clouds — a quiet reminder that warmth and clarity can still find their way in, even through the grey.

🌿 Agnes Isumataq

This is the story and meaning behind the name — the heart of this practice.

Agnes honours a beloved dog whose calm, intuitive presence showed me how deeply animals participate in our healing. Isumataq is an Inuit word referring to the one who creates the space for wisdom to reveal itself. Together they shape the essence of this practice — a space held with stillness, connection, and more than words.

🌿 PSYCH‑K®
Psych‑K offers a simple way to shift subconscious beliefs that may be shaping how you feel or respond to life. I understand it as a process that works with the mind–body relationship, helping the conscious and subconscious move into greater harmony so change can unfold naturally and at a pace that feels right.

🌿 Inception
The process came through Rob Williams in the late 1980s. He describes it as something he received rather than something he designed. His work later intersected with the research of Dr Bruce Lipton, whose findings in epigenetics highlight how our perceptions and beliefs can influence our biology.

🌿 Paws
Psych‑K can support shifts in stress patterns or mindsets on behalf of others, including the animals who share our lives. A human surrogate is used to connect with their innate wisdom, allowing the process to unfold on their behalf. From what I’ve seen, it’s a sensitive and respectful approach that honours the natural intelligence of animals, supporting the shifts they need to live their best life.

🌿 Session
Sessions tend to be around an hour and feel relaxed and collaborative. They can be held in person, via video, or as voice‑only calls. It’s not a talk‑fest, but we do explore the beliefs that may be limiting your current experience, then use simple processes to create a whole‑brain state that supports a shift in your subconscious mind.

If this resonates, I’m glad you’re here.
