Scott's Highland Dancing

Last week, Connor travelled to NSW to compete at the
Grand Australasian Championships & Titles.
He danced amazing & placed extremely well, we’re so proud of his achievements.

After an early flight home on Sunday morning, we picked Connor up from the airport & headed straight into the city for Adelaide's Tartan Day celebrations!
A quick carpark “Kilt-Up” Connor proudly joined fellow SHD dancers, SA pipe bands & SASCHDI dancers, all representing South Australia's Scottish community & proudly celebrating Scottish heritage.

Last weekend, SHD dancers competed at the inaugural Pt.Adelaide Caledonian Society Winter Flame Competition in Tanunda.
It was a lovely afternoon of dancing, with all four Scott's Dancers achieving success across their events.
The evening concluded with the combined Winter Flame Parade, bringing participants together for a spectacular procession down the Main Street.

Our little pocket rocket, Nieve, competed at the Commonwealth Championships & Competitions this weekend in Victoria.
She danced her wee heart out, giving her best on stage, & came away with some wonderful placings.
We are so proud of her dedication & determination.
Well done Nieve, your hard work is paying off, keep up the great work 💜💚

On the weekend, Connor travelled to Campbelltown, NSW for the Scottish Dancing Association of Australia, Festival of Dance.
Connor danced beautifully, showing consistency & strength throughout his performance.

He placed 5th overall in the
19 Years & Over Eastern Australian Championship.

Seven Scott’s dancers competed at the SASCHDI competition on Saturday. Everyone performed beautifully, and it was wonderful to see our two new 5 year old Primaries giving it their best on the competitive stage for the very first time. They were absolutely adorable!
A big thank you to the organisers for putting together such a wonderful day of dancing for our kids. 💜💚

A wonderful weekend of dance & excitement for Leona & Courtney at the Champion of Champions competitions on the Gold Coast, QLD.

Congratulations to Courtney who gave her best at Saturday’s Australian Championship & in both the Premier & Restricted Premier sections over the weekend. Competing at this prestigious event as an adult Premier dancer is a reward in itself.

Leona competed in the Novice nine years section & had amazing success for her first big interstate competition.
So grateful for FaceTime! perfect for quick run-throughs, pep talks, & tutoring between dances!
