Kaylene is a total rock in the defensive circle, consistently shutting down opponents with her solid, reliable play. Beyond her fantastic defensive skills on court, she is a truly beautiful person inside and out, bringing so much warmth to our club.

500 GAMES MILESTONE – SCARLETT PRESTWOOD! 🏆🌟💯

The Southern Stars Netball Club is incredibly proud to celebrate an absolute club legend, Scarlett Prestwood, on reaching her monumental 500th game!

Talk about loyalty - Scarlett started her netball journey right here in the Under 9s (as you can see in the cuuuute throwback from 2014) and hasn't missed a single season with the Stars since.

Over her incredible career, Scarlett has quite literally played every position on the court. Her later junior years spent dominating the defensive circle laid the foundation for the elite defensive game she brings to court today. Combined with serious speed, fierce competitiveness, and strong voice, Scarlett has firmly cemented herself as a weapon in the mid-court for our A1 side.

Her talent has shone brightly beyond club level too, earning selection in the SHNA Representative teams every single year of her junior career from 11s right through to 17s.

Scarlett has also been part of an impressive 11 premierships and 5 runner up premiership teams 🤩

Thank you for your incredible loyalty and dedication to Stars, Scarlett. You are a true Stars role model.

A huge congratulations to Emily from Bek and Krista’s Inters team for winning the Starbucks award!
Emily showed outstanding leadership on court, constantly lifting her teammates with positive encouragement. Even though the ball didn't make its way down to the defensive end too often, she stayed completely focused, putting intense pressure on every single ball. Thanks to her relentless work - and a stellar effort from the entire defensive unit - they managed to keep the opposition to just 1 goal for the second week in a row! 🛑🙅‍♀️

Addison wasn't feeling 100% before the match, but she put the team first, went out there, and gave absolutely everything she had. She ran her heart out at Centre for three full quarters and never once gave up! That is pure determination and amazing team spirit. 💪✨
