Q: What kind of customisation options do you get with a Gothic?

A: It’s a custom-built gravel bike, so you can have exactly what you want. Some riders are Shimano devotees. Some won't touch anything that's not SRAM. Some are passionate about particular gear ratios, BBs or bar widths. And some don’t care what they're on, as long as it works.

We can guide you through everything from chainring sizes and tyre widths to spoke counts and hub types.

Or you can just say ‘the hell with it’, pick a bar tape, and leave the rest to us. 🖤

We may wear all black, but we eat all the colours. 🌈 🫘

Why 'Aix'? (And how the hell do you pronounce it?)

A Greek mythological figure, Aix usually appears a nymph, associated with forests, mountains and bodies of water. Playful, nature-loving and impossible to tame, what better moniker for Gothic's divine creation?

It's also pronounced 'aches', to rhyme with 'lakes'. Unless you're going for the French pronunciation of 'ex'. (We don't mind either way.)

Purple/emerald green? Black/glitter red? Blue/metallic orange? When it's your Gothic, you can choose any colour combination that you want.

Go subtle. Go clashing. Go as big as your dreams.

But we will probably still photograph it in a graveyard somewhere.
