We celebrate our Grand final participants however a reminder to all spectators please - scooters, bikes and skateboards are not permitted on the court area or near spectators. We have had a number of injuries and near misses recently so please leave these at home. Also Adelaide City Council have advised that we are not to permit the "pom poms" as they are an environmental issue. Please come and support your teams and make it a safe environment for players, officials and spectators.

Put this date in your diary. Yes - it is AFL Grand Final Day - but you can get some fresh air early 9-11am before settling down to watch the game. Remember every club needs to send at least one representative to help out.

Semi finals are here!! Good luck to all teams. Please double check your venue so you are in the right location for your game. Games are at St Josephs, SMAA, Henley Sharks and St Monicas as well as Association courts. Put some fresh batteries in your timer and make sure your players have left all their jewellery at home (saves losing it).

Spectators - cheer on your players but leave the coaching to the coach (it makes it easier for the players to follow the team plans worked on at training).

Have a great day and play fair.

Saturday 1st August is UMPIRE APPRECIATION ROUND. Whether you are a player, coach, team manager or a spectator, please remember that games cannot go ahead without umpires. So take this opportunity in the last minor round game to thank your umpires (even if you don't agree with every decision - they are human after all). We can't play without them.

Day 3 of the SAUCNA Junior Carnival saw the sun out and some great competition. Congratulations to all who competed, particularly our winners and runners up.
