Massive congratulations to our Morphett Vale Sharks boys who pulled on the SOUTH AUSTRALIA jersey and represented at the National Junior Championships last week!
What an incredible effort from the entire squad. Every single one of these boys competed hard, played with heart, and did our club proud from the first game to the last. The commitment they've shown at Sharks training all season really showed out there on the big stage.
Here's the number that's got us buzzing: only 3 South Australian boys were selected for this squad — and all three wear the Sharks jumper. 🔥 That's not luck, that's a testament to the culture and coaching we've built at this club. We are so incredibly proud.
Huge thanks also to Craig Simons and Matt Conners for coaching these boys at the 16's and 18's level and putting in the time and effort to help get them here.
We also want to give a shoutout to a few of our other Sharks who had cracking trials and just missed the final cut. Your performances did not go unnoticed — you pushed the standard higher for everyone and showed you belong in this conversation. Take that disappointment and turn it into fuel. We fully expect to see you fighting for SA selection again next year, and the club will be right behind you every step of the way.
