When there’s no one else to call: Disability complaints in remote comm... | Disability Support Guide 20/07/2026

Imagine raising a complaint about your disability provider, and having no one else to turn to while you wait for it to be sorted out.

That's the reality for many NDIS participants in remote parts of Australia, like the Kimberley region, where advocates say serious complaints haven't always been dealt with quickly. Since 2024, over 55 complaints have been lodged there — but only 5 compliance notices issued.
