There will be no meeting this month ... see you next month to discuss plans for our December meet.

Our hearts go out to everyone in our community today. Many of our members, and most importantly friends were at Round 3 of the SA State Championship today and had to bear witness to something we never wish for.

There was an incident during racing where a member of the community has tragically passed away. This is incredibly hard to come to terms with, particularly being so close to home. Our deepest and heartfelt condolences go out to everyone.

Motorcycling SA Inc and Motorcycling Australia have offered support through the following organisations to help through this time, and there are other support options if they are needed - they have been posted in the comments.

Thank you to all who assisted with responding to the accident - paramedics were providing care and doing everything they could to change this situation and we appreciate it more than we can say. They are here to keep us safe, and take on a lot in doing so.

Please, reach out to your friends who may be impacted, or reach out yourself. There is no shame in how we are feeling, and even less so in speaking with people about it.

The ride day is all go for Saturday, but to just to clarify, it is only Saturday. Apparently, a few people are under the impression it's a double. Alas it is not. But fear not, our next ride day September 19th - 20th will be a 2-day event. And in case you have forgotten what a sunny winters day at Mac Park looks like (which is what is forecast), here's a recent reminder...is there anywhere else you would rather be???

A top day was had up at Acusa park on Sunday for Family ride day. Thanks to MotoJet Garage for bringing up some demo Beta Motorcycles for people to ride and the Ycf motorcycles. Sun was out all day. Thanks to those up there helping out to.
