šŸ“ø A little behind-the-scenes from today’s Women in Business event… and a reminder to myself that growth rarely happens inside your comfort zone.

Many years ago, the thought of standing in front of a camera for professional photos would have made me cringe. I would have questioned whether I was ā€œgood enoughā€, worried about how I looked or convinced myself I didn’t need to do it.

But here’s what I’ve learnt…

Every opportunity I’ve said yes to before I felt completely ready has helped shape the person, coach and business owner I am today.

Whether it’s putting yourself out there on social media, launching the business, speaking in front of a room, investing in yourself or simply backing yourself enough to be seen…

✨ Do the thing.

Because confidence doesn’t usually come first.
It comes after you’ve been brave enough to take the first step. 🤩 If there was one thing I took away from the wonderful speakers at today’s event, it was this!

To every woman building something, chasing a dream or quietly wondering if she’s capable…

This is your reminder that you don’t have to feel ready.
You just have to be willing to begin.

POV: you’re a 40-something woman…
doing all the ā€œright thingsā€
but your body feels like it’s playing by different rules now and no one is really explaining why.

This is the conversation I’m having daily with women (myself included).

Eating well.
Trying to stay consistent.
Working out.
Still feeling tired, stuck or like things just aren’t responding the way they used to.

it’s not that you’re doing anything wrong…
it’s that your body is asking for a different approach now.

Less extremes.
More support.
Smarter structure.
Focus on the things that help now.
Better understanding of what actually works in this season!

This is exactly why I do what I do.

Because once you understand your body again,
everything starts to feel less frustrating and a lot more doable.

Last week was one of those beautiful reminders that life is meant to be lived… not just rushed through 🩷

5 fun-filled days in Bali with girlfriends laughing until our stomachs hurt, switching off from routine and making memories I’ll treasure forever… followed by another 6 days slowing down with my family, relaxing, reconnecting and truly recharging.

And while I feel incredibly grateful for experiences like this, I never take them for granted.

Over the years, I’ve worked intentionally to build a life and business that allows space for these moments. Not perfectly. Not without sacrifice or hard work. But with purpose.

Because success to me isn’t just about business growth or achievement anymore…

It’s about freedom.
Presence.
Health.
Balance.
Experiences.
And making memories with the people you love most šŸ’ž

The laundry, emails and busy schedules will always be there… but these moments? These are the things that fill your cup and stay with you forever.

You don’t have a motivation problem, your life is just full.

And when everything feels like a priority…
your health is usually the first thing to slide. Right?

Not because you don’t care, but because you’re carrying a lot.

This is why I don’t chase perfect weeks anymore.
I focus on a few non-negotiables that keep me consistent, even when life is busy.

Less pressure.
More consistency.
Real results.

Trying to juggle your health, work, kids… and everything else? Same.

And if you’ve been feeling like your own health keeps slipping to the bottom of the list, I can assure you, you’re not alone šŸ™‹šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø

I see this every single week with the women I work with.
Not because they don’t care…
but because they’re carrying a lot, life is busy and our bodies have changed.

The mistake most women make?
šŸ‘‰šŸ¼ Trying to do everything perfectly

The shift that actually works?
šŸ‘‰šŸ¼ Doing a few things consistently and stop trying to be perfect or compare yourself to others

Because in this season of life, it’s not about having more time… it’s about having something that fits your life.

For me, my non-negotiable is simple:
✨ Movement minimum 4x per week no matter what that looks like (with incidental movement and recovery on the other days)

Some weeks it’s strong gym sessions and sauna sessions
Some weeks it’s a walk, a shorter workout or adjusting the intensity

But I don’t skip it, I just adapt it. This has been a game changer for me! šŸ™ŒšŸ¼

That one habit keeps me grounded, energised and consistent… even when life feels full.
