Masters Swimming South Australia

Masters Swimming needs your help. The Jetty 2 Jetty Open Water swim is the biggest swim on the Masters Swimming calendar, has a great history, and needs a team of people to make it run well.

MSSA members just keep showing how big hearted they are. Daffodil Day donations are still coming in after the day. The latest fabulous total is $1676. Sincere thanks from the MSSA Board.

MSSA Interclub 4 was held on Sunday 23rd along with the MSSA Daffodil Day Dip and fundraiser. A big thank you to all who swam and donated to the day. 11 MSSA clubs and 1 interstate club were represented.

Congratulations to Atlantis Masters who won the day with 712 points from Phoenix Masters on 580 and Marion Masters 3rd on 385.

Many SSA records were set including fabulous swims from: Maryanne Heffernan (4), Grant Simpson (4), Stephen Osborne (3), Josephine Varney (2), Deborah Wareing (2) Kainan Chen (2), Eithne Mayton (1), then the following relay competitors: Joanne Sutcliffe, Rebecca Gumm, Ashleigh Sims and Kim Wellington. Wow! MSSA members are fantastic. The goal of $1,000 for Daffodil Day was set and you reached it and smashed it. On behalf of the MSSA Board, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who donated.

We hope you are all ready for Interclub 4 and the Daffodil Day Dip and Donation THIS SUNDAY.

DETAILS: Warm up will finish slightly earlier and the Dip will start at 8.50am. So wear something yellow and join in.

A very big thank you to MSSA members who have helped us get much closer to our goal. After the weekend we are now at a total of $698. Lets give it another big push to reach $1,000 by this Friday.
