Here's a roundup of the Semi-Final game results from last Saturday!!

It was absolutely terrific to see each team putting their all into their games with some amazing results; our ETPLC players in the Girls' U13s North Adelaide team, our Women's Div 2 team and our Men's State League team are all into the Prelim finals while our Under 15s Boys' team have fast tracked their way to the Grand Final!!

Congratulations to all our members who made it to the final rounds and good luck to everyone playing this week!

2026 Lax Finals kick off this weekend on the 29th!! Congratulations to all teams who have made it to the semi-final rounds!

This weekend is split between two fields: all Men's games at Glenelg and all Women's at Brighton at varying times. Please take note of the altered game times!! Many teams are operating with a modified schedule this weekend!

All men's State League games will be streamed via the Australian Lacrosse Network, follow along from their YouTube page!

Congratulations to our very own Kris Nebesky and Kyle Parker for their selection into the 2026 MLS Salties team!! We couldn't be more proud of you boys, and we can't wait to support all your efforts through the training and tournament!!

The 2026 MLS Men's draft results have landed and this year's event is looking absolutely stacked with talent. Congratulations to all of those that were drafted!

Major League Sixes is set to return for its third edition from 19 - 21 November 2026 at the Marden Sports Complex in South Australia! Stay tuned for more details over the coming weeks.

Saturday the 22nd was the final round of regular season, marking the last games for our young junior teams for 2026. On top of this, the day was made extra special with the Stick it 2 Leukaemia event, a fundraiser held in solidarity with Margot Whinnen and her family where people dressed up as colourful and whimsical as they could for the day and helped raise money for Margot’s treatment

A big shoutout to everyone who made the day so special, and thank you to all those involved with our junior teams for all their work this season, from the players to the coaches, and from the parents to everyone behind the scenes pulling the organisational strings

Sky was super eager to get onto the field throughout the whole game! She went hard at the ground balls and communicated well with her team, really contributing towards a great game

This is a weekly post for some of our youngest juniors whose enjoyment and skill in lacrosse is something we want to help with, encourage and recognise. We can't wait to see these kids grow into the athletes of tomorrow!

Our final junior training for the year was a wonderful success last night, with a super fun collection of adults vs kids scratch games, followed by an amazing pizza dinner! Some rain may have dampened the ground but it couldn’t dampen any spirits!

Thank you to all the parents who joined in to make the evening extra special, we hope you weren’t feeling too sore today!

This Saturday is the final game of regular season before finals, and the last U8 and U11 games for the year, we hope to see you out there supporting our teams!

Senna put his best foot forward over the weekend, his constant want to get on the field and play a good team game was outstanding, and he contributed amazing intercepts and game winning ground balls!

On Saturday, 15 August 2026, our beautiful Margot Whinnen’s life changed in a way no five-year-old should ever have to experience.

In the early hours of Saturday morning, Margot was diagnosed with leukaemia at just five years old. A battle that no child should ever have to face.

She is the sweetest, kindest little soul, with a personality that lights up every room she walks into. She loves unicorns, sparkles, her family, and playing lacrosse… always with a tutu on, of course.

Her parents, Jesse and Nicky Whinnen have made a huge impact upon lacrosse as a sport, not only at club level, but throughout the community, nationally and internationally. With their children in tow, Myles, Margot and Logan, the Whinnen’s are Sturt’s the forever entertaining showstoppers.

They always show up when help is needed, big or small, they are there; usually with a crazy story or two about how they got there, but they are there. They show up, no matter, Where? When? Or how? Fix what needs to be fixed, and get the job done while shooting a million goals doing it.
How? It’s a Whinnen thing.

It is now time for us to show up as a sporting community.

Show up for the Whinnen’s like they have for all of us.

The end of regular season is right around the corner, and we want to make sure everyone has a blast at the final junior training of the year on Thursday the 20th, so we're holding a fun parents v kids lacrosse match followed by a pizza night!!

The game will begin at 5.30pm, parents please bring some cleats or good running shoes, we'll provide the sticks!

Afterwards, from 6.15pm, we'll have pizza ordered to the clubrooms; juniors eat free, and any adults wanting to join in are welcome to for $10pp

It'll be a night to remember, so get down to the club ready to have a blast! To have an indication of numbers, please let us know if you'd like to join in our pizza dinner in the comments by 1pm Thursday 20th. Can't wait to see you there!!
