The Christies Beach Football Club regretfully advises that Brian Haraida has informed the Club that, unfortunately, due to increasing work commitments, he is unable to continue in his role as Senior Coach.

Brian took on the role at a challenging time and has played an important part in the progression of our senior football program. Over his three seasons, he has helped lift the A-Grade from the wooden spoon to competing in, and challenging for, finals football, reflecting the work, commitment and standards he has brought to the group.

The Board, Players, Members and Supporters of the Christies Beach Football Club sincerely thank Brian for the enormous time, energy and effort he has invested in our club and wish him all the very best for whatever comes next.

🔴⚪️⚫️ FINALS PREP FOR OUR I LEAGUE BOYS! ⚫️⚪️🔴

Our Inclusive League boys hit the track yesterday for an internal match as they prepare for their upcoming finals campaign!

It was a great opportunity for the boys to get some valuable game time in, sharpen up their skills and enjoy a bit of friendly competition before finals footy gets underway.

Now the focus turns to finals — we can’t wait to see the boys out there representing the red, white and black!

🔴⚪⚫ FINAL ROUND OF THE 2026 SEASON! ⚫⚪🔴

This Saturday marks the final home and away game of the 2026 season for our Saturday sides as we take on Morphett Vale at Morphett Vale Oval. It’s been a great season, and we’d love to see a sea of red, white and black making the trip to support our players as they give it everything one last time.

A huge congratulations to our Inclusive League team, who have made it through to finals and will kick off their finals campaign at home this Saturday starting at 4:45pm vs Broadview!

If you’re heading to Morphett Vale on Saturday, finish the day by returning to the club for presentations and stick around to support our Inclusive League team in Round 1 of finals! Let’s make home ground advantage count and create a great atmosphere for them!

Then on Sunday 23rd August, we have three teams taking the field in the Sunday Elimination Round:

🔴 U17 Girls – 11:25am vs Flagstaff Hill
⚪ C Grade Men – 1:00pm vs Flagstaff Hill
⚫ A Grade Women – 2:40pm vs Aldinga

It’s a huge weekend of footy for the Saints, and we’d love to see plenty of red, white and black around the grounds supporting all of our teams!

Congratulations to Zak Short (Plugga) on reaching the fantastic milestone of 100 Senior Games for the Christies Beach Football Club! 👏

A true club person, Zak has come through our junior ranks and has continued to show his commitment to the red, white and black throughout his senior career.

Besides being a strong presence up forward on the field , Off the field, Zak also plays an important role in helping create a great culture within our senior group and is also an active member of our Social Events Committee, always willing to put his hand up and contribute to the club.

A well-deserved milestone for a great club man. Congratulations Zak on 100 senior games! ❤️🤍🖤
