We’ve been blown away by the support our community has shown during our $50,000 in 60 Days campaign.

Every financial donation, giving of time, piece of sporting gear donated, and every purchase from our shop. It all adds up.

We’re now around 60% of the way towards our public fundraising goal, with additional support also coming from businesses and private donors who believe in what Play It On is building.

Now we’re hoping for one final push.

💙 Meet Judith.

Judith has been volunteering with Play It On for years and is one of those wonderful people who simply gets on with whatever needs doing whether its cleaning boots or sorting donations.

As Judith says:

“I am happy to play a small part in scrubbing and washing donated sports clothing, shoes and equipment to see them reused. Volunteering is so rewarding knowing more kids can afford to play sport.”

This photo says it all. Some days Judith is quietly cleaning boots alongside other volunteers. On this day, she was doing exactly the same job alongside the Premier of South Australia Peter Malinauskas at our store opening.

Because at Play It On, every pair of hands makes a difference.

As we head into the final week of our $50,000 in 60 Days campaign, we’d love to welcome more volunteers into our community. Whether you can spare a few hours every week, once a month or just now and then, there’s always a way to help.

We are very grateful to HITsa Training and Employment - RTO 40200 for their generous donation to help us continue to keep our doors open so that we can keep providing affordable sports gear to South Australian families.

It’s a great honour to be recognised next to other smaller charities like us that keep doing great things like our friends Lighthouse Youth Projects Inc. who fix and repair bikes with young people, look out for their warehouse sales for affordable bikes!
