To us, sponsorship has never been about having our logo on a shirt.

It's about finding people who are building something worth believing in.

Happy Valley's Women's Program has spent ten years creating opportunities, building culture and leaving the game in a better place than they found it. That deserves to be celebrated.

What we love most about these warm-up tops isn't that our name is on them.

It's that woven throughout the design are the names of the players, coaches, volunteers and people who laid the foundations for everything this program is today.

That's what community looks like.

Congratulations to everyone who has been part of the first ten years, and to everyone carrying it forward.

Thank you for letting us play a small role in the journey. We can't wait to see what the next ten years look like. 🖤💛

💛🖤 Thank You Mitise Performance Group 🖤💛

As we celebrate the 10th season of our Women's Program, we'd like to sincerely thank Mitise Performance Group for their support and sponsorship of our squad.

Last weekend marked the first time our women wore their new Mitise-sponsored warm-up tops, and they looked like an absolute unit 💪🏼

What makes these tops even more special is the design itself. Embedded within the artwork are the names of the players, coaches, volunteers and key people who have helped build women's football at Happy Valley over the past 10 years. It's a tribute to those who came before us, a celebration of how far we've come, and a reminder that we're continuing to build on the foundations they created.

Josh and the team at Mitise have supported many of our players over the years and wanted to get behind a program they believe has built something special. As a Division 1 club, our players work incredibly hard both on and off the field. Seeing the squad warm up together in a professional new kit was a proud moment - not only do our women play at the highest level, now they look the part too.

Thank you for backing our women and helping us celebrate this incredible milestone season!

To build hamstring strength and reduce your footballing injury risk of a strain, we need to train the hamstring at your knee AND at your butt.

Flex, extend, pause, stretch, and contract.

These are the few simple considerations we take into account when programming for hamstring strength 👆🏼

Knee pain during squats and lunges? It could be a pressure issue.

We like to cue our clientele to reduce pressure on the knee by reducing forward loading through the foot.

Here is how we troubleshoot it 👆🏼

The heavier the weight you want to lift, the less joint movement you will have available to lift it. Something to remember if you're wanting to build strength and power, while minimising muscle fatigue.

Let's get into it.

Deadlifts: which should you do, sumo or conventional?

Here's our response to a question we get multiple times a month, with something important for females to consider as well...

Sore back? It could be because your pelvis is being tilted forwards 🪣

We see your body as a system of systems, and understanding a bit of the (simplified) physics behind movement can help you manage your training effectively, especially for those dealing with low back pain or tightness.

Does 'power' training seem like a foreign concept to you? This simple set will help build your power whilst maintaining strength 👆🏼

Great for footballers in season and also great for professionals looking to add a little 'zing' to their training week!
