Finaliza la octava etapa del 🇫🇷 Tour de France™ , resuelta al esprint tras una jornada controlada de nuevo por los equipos de los velocistas.

Mañana, nuestros corredores afrontarán la última etapa antes del primer día de descanso, con un recorrido quebrado que ofrece una buena oportunidad para la escapada.

Tomorrow, our riders will take on the final stage before the first rest day, with a rolling route that should provide a good opportunity for the breakaway.

Jornada sin sobresaltos para el Movistar Team en el 🇫🇷 Tour de France™. Tras un día marcado por el control de los equipos de los esprinters, nuestros corredores completaron la séptima etapa con final en Bordeaux dentro del pelotón.

Mañana, previsiblemente, llegará una nueva oportunidad para los velocistas, antes de afrontar el domingo una jornada más exigente, con un recorrido que volverá a abrir la puerta a la batalla.

A calm day for Movistar Team at the 🇫🇷 . After a stage controlled by the sprinters’ teams, our riders safely completed stage seven, finishing in Bordeaux with the peloton.

Tomorrow will likely offer another opportunity for the sprinters before a more demanding stage on Sunday, with a route that should once again open the door to attacking racing.

Un día duro en el 🇫🇷 Tour de France™. Nuestros corredores han afrontado hoy la primera gran etapa de montaña, con los Pirineos como escenario, en una jornada que nos ha dejado la triste noticia del abandono de Cian Uijtdebroeks.

Cian lo ha intentado todo durante estos primeros días para seguir en carrera, pero finalmente se ha visto obligado a poner pie a tierra. Mucho ánimo, Cian. Te esperamos de vuelta. 💙

En lo deportivo, el equipo permaneció atento durante la primera parte de la etapa, buscando la oportunidad de filtrarse en los movimientos que se producían en cabeza. Sin embargo, el elevado ritmo del pelotón impidió que llegara a consolidarse una escapada, y ya en las grandes ascensiones del día, el Col d’Aspin y el Tourmalet, el grupo de favoritos tomó el control de la carrera.

Aunque hoy hemos perdido a nuestro líder, aún quedan más de dos semanas por delante y seguiremos peleando en este Tour de Francia.

A tough day at the 🇫🇷 . Our riders tackled the first major mountain stage of this Tour de France today, with the Pyrenees providing the backdrop to a day marked by the sad news of Cian Uijtdebroeks’ withdrawal from the race.

Cian gave everything he had over the past few days to stay in the race, but was ultimately forced to step off the bike. Stay strong, Cian. We look forward to seeing you back soon. 💙

On the sporting side, the team stayed attentive throughout the opening part of the stage, looking for an opportunity to make the break. However, the high pace in the peloton prevented any move from getting away, and once the race reached the day’s major climbs—the Col d’Aspin and the Tourmalet—the GC contenders took control.

Although we’ve lost our team leader today, there are still more than two weeks of racing ahead, and we’ll keep fighting throughout this Tour de France.

La quinta etapa del 🇫🇷 Tour de France™ ha concluido en Pau con todos nuestros corredores dentro del pelotón. Tras un inicio de carrera vertiginoso, el pelotón ha afrontado hoy un día más tranquilo, que se resolvió con una volata.

El desenlace de la etapa quedó marcado por una caída a 5 km de meta que condicionó el esprint final, aunque, por fortuna, ninguno de nuestros ciclistas se vio involucrado.

Mañana espera el primer gran examen de alta montaña: Col d’Aspin, Tourmalet y final en Gavarnie-Gèdre. ⛰️💪

Stage 5 of the 🇫🇷 has come to an end in Pau, with all our riders safely finishing in the peloton. After a fast and intense start to the race, today’s stage unfolded at a calmer pace before ending in a bunch sprint.

The finale was marked by a crash with 5 km to go that affected the sprint outcome, but fortunately none of our riders were involved.

Tomorrow brings the first major mountain test of this Tour: Col d’Aspin, Tourmalet and a summit finish in Gavarnie-Gèdre. ⛰️💪

Un día para sentirse orgullosos. 💙

No se ha conseguido la victoria, pero Raúl García Pierna y se han dejado el alma sobre la bicicleta peleando por ella en Foix, meta de la cuarta etapa de este 🇫🇷 Tour de France™

Muy atentos desde los primeros compases de la jornada, ambos se metieron en la escapada del día, junto a . En la ascensión al Col de Montségur, sus ataques contribuyeron a seleccionar el grupo de cabeza y, ya en los últimos 10 kilómetros, volvieron a pasar a a ofensiva en busca del triunfo.

La victoria fue para Mads Pedersen, mientras que Raúl firmó una importante tercera posición tras un gran sprint. Pablo, por su parte, cruzó la meta en novena posición y fue nombrado el corredor más combativo del día.

En un día tan especial como San Fermín, nuestros corredores nos han regalado una actuación emocionante y que nos llena de confianza para las próximas etapas.

A day to be proud of. 💙

Victory slipped away, but Raúl García Pierna and Pablo Castrillo left everything out on the road in their fight for the stage win in Foix, the finish of Stage 4 of the 🇫🇷 .

Alert from the very start, both riders made it into the day’s breakaway alongside Nelson Oliveira. On the Col de Montségur, their attacks helped split the leading group, and with 10 kilometres to go they were still launching moves in search of the victory.

The stage went to Mads Pedersen, while Raúl sprinted to an impressive third place. Pablo finished ninth and was also named the day’s Most Combative Rider.

On such a special day as San Fermín, our riders gave us a thrilling performance that fills us with confidence for the stages ahead.
