In memory of the precious lives lost in the devastating floods and disasters in Nepal, we are gathering for a Candlelight Vigil to remember, pray and stand in solidarity with those affected.

We warmly invite members of the Nepali community across South Australia to come together with compassion and unity, offering our prayers and support to the affected families and communities back home.

Let us unite as one community, honour those we have lost, and stand beside Nepal during this heartbreaking time.

The Lawn Tennis Management Committee will be responsible for leading and coordinating the lawn tennis competition at the 7th Oceania Nepalese Sports Meet (ONSM) SA 2027.

From competition planning and player registrations to fixture preparation, venue coordination, match scheduling, rules, officiating, and on-ground operations, the committee will work together to ensure a smooth, competitive, and enjoyable experience for every participant.

With their dedication and passion for the sport, the committee will help create an exciting lawn tennis championship that celebrates competition, sportsmanship, friendship, and unity across the Nepalese sporting community.

Please be aware that there is a group of people going door to door pretending to be Home Affairs Officers. They have documents and letterheads from the Home Affairs Department and claim that they need to verify that everyone has a valid ID for the upcoming census. They rob houses. They are everywhere and they look neat.

Someone will come to your house and say *I want to take your photo/fingerprint according to some scheme*. They have a laptop, a biometric machine and a list of all the names. They show the list and ask for all this information.

Please be aware that there is no such initiative by the government.

Please be aware that all of this is fake. Do not give them any information. Everyone should be vigilant and *aware*!
