All paddlers are welcome to join the Sunday 30th August combined age group State Team Training session 9:45am warm up. Itβs a great opportunity to paddle with others from across different clubs, meet the coaches and as benchmarking for selection gets closer ask any questions. We hope to see you on Sunday

Meet Julie Davies our recently appointed Regional State Team Coach for AusChamps 2027.
Looking through the EOI download, Julie is excited to see so many paddlers from regional locations listed. Donβt worry if you forgot to nominate as regional as well as an age group, all good, the box is ticked and Julie will be in touch shortly.
The State Team training sessions at 10am on Saturday 22/8 and 5/9 and Sunday 29/8 are open to all paddlers. We hope to see you there

Meet Drew (ACDC) and George (Powerblades), partners in crime coaching our Premier State Team athletes for the 2027 AusChamps in Adelaide. Different age groups, different clubs, different experiences, but a couple of things in common drive and passion and a commitment to delivering the strongest and most competitive premier crews possible.

STATE TEAM TRAINING
Many thanks to all the paddlers who have expressed their interest so far, but don't worry you still have time. Coaches are looking at benchmarking, selection dates and training and will be in touch with all paddlers shortly. Premier, Senior A, Senior B and Para have agreed to combine some initial training sessions and a selection weekend.

All participants MUST complete an online learning component prior to attending the face-to-face course.
This component takes approximately 2 hours and must be fully completed before attending the in-person session.

The long awaited dates for the 2027 AusChamps in Adelaide have now been announced and its 30th Anniversary celebrations. The first AusChamps was held way back in 1997 in Adelaide.
Day 1 - Saturday 10 April - Premier/Jnr/BCP/ACP - 200m+2km open/women
Day 2 - Sunday 11 April - Premier/Jnr/BCP/ACP - 500m+2km open/women
Day 3 - Monday 12 April - Australian Championships (formerly State v State) - 500m + 1km turn race
Day 4 - Tuesday 13 April - Seniors - 500m
Day 5 - Wednesday 14 April - Seniors - 200m
Day 6 - Thursday 15 April - Seniors - 2km
Venue: AM Ramsay Regatta Course
