After a week of persistent rain and challenging conditions, it was fantastic to be greeted by clear skies and sunshine for today's event. While the course remained soft in places following the recent wet weather, it presented beautifully and provided an enjoyable test for the field. 🏌️

The competition produced some incredibly close results, with Nigel Coles claiming victory after edging out Dale Wood on a countback, both finishing with an impressive 37 Stableford points.

We were proud to host both the Senior Order of Merit and Golf SA Vardon events, welcoming players from across South Australia and showcasing The Vines at its very best.

👏 Congratulations to our own Andrew Munn who claimed the Senior Nett title, Amanda Heapy who won the Women's Senior Gross on a countback from Christine Trimmer, and Renier Wissing who produced a brilliant nett 67 to take out Best Men's Nett in the Vardon event.

Congratulations to the SA team on winning the Jack Merrick Perpetual Trophy at the 2026 GMA Conference Golf Day — the first time SA has claimed the title since 1991.

Each state selected seven players, with the best five scores counting towards the team total. Our General Manager, Brayden Wauchope, was part of the winning SA side.

SA went on to edge out Victoria by 2 points.
