A Bittersweet Friday night👨‍🍳💙

It’s hard to believe, but this Friday 28th August is our last week with Chef Grant in the kitchen!

We always knew it was only a temporary gig, but that doesn’t make saying goodbye any easier. 🥹

Grant has brought cheekiness, a little chaos and plenty of delicious food to our kitchen, and we’ve absolutely loved having the Connell Family as part of our little community.

So, come in and enjoy one last meal cooked by Chef Grant.

A huge thank you, Grant, Liz and of course Miss Grace, for everything you’ve brought to our kitchen.

We’re going to miss you (especially the desserts) — but we’re incredibly grateful for you stepping in and helping us get through the last 7 months. ❤

On 18 August, we commemorate Vietnam Veterans' Day on the anniversary of the Battle of Long Tan in 1966. We remember the sacrifices of those who died and say thank you to almost 60,000 Australians who served during the 10 years of our involvement in the Vietnam War.

Thank you for your service and sacrifice.
Lest we forget.

On Saturday night we celebrated our Centenary Anniversary with neighbouring RSL's, supporters, VIP guests and of course our very own members. I hope everyone who attended had a wonderful evening, enjoyed their meals and saw value in their gifts. Thank you to Keith, Darren and Gary from City of Onkaparinga Pipe Band for your beautiful music. Special shout out to Kirsty McVey Photography for capturing all our lovely guests 💐💐
