A few things to note:

* The Black Caps are not playing caps - we still have a supply of playing caps from last season that we will sell individually once pulled out of storage. (Anyone that ordered a black cap incorrectly in the first order, we will switch them over)

* Anything printed (shirts and playing pants) has a minimum order - not an issue during the first window, but if anything doesn't hit the minimum, that garment will likely be delayed and filled during the final window in early October - keeping pricing lower for everyone.

* Playing pants come unhemmed - great for growing juniors or guys who like to choose their own leg length.

* Players choose their own number for the back of the shirt (00-99, no 67 or 69). Name can be either first or last name (no nicknames). Number on the front of the shirt can be left blank, this is for senior player numbers for those that have them, we will amend at the end of the order period.

This is a new supplier with different garments and different sizing. Make sure you try the gear on before ordering and get your sizing right.

JUNIORS — IMPORTANT
All first-year players will receive a FREE playing shirt.

The process is:

- All subs can be paid to the treasurer after your registration is complete. No need to pay full subs now.

A big part of planning for the upcoming season is knowing exactly how many teams we will have. We need to confirm our numbers as soon as possible so the club can prepare properly for the season ahead.

Running an additional team comes with significant costs and commitments — including equipment, utilities, ground hire, playing and training resources, and general club expenses. Every extra team requires us to make sure we have the facilities, equipment and budget in place to support them properly.

For that reason, we really need everyone who intends to play this season to get registered before the September 3rd deadline.

PRE-SEASON IS IN FULL SWING

The last of 3 indoor sessions at Gillespie Sports is tonight at 6pm - all senior players, new and returning, are welcome to dust off the kit and shake out the cobwebs!

We have around a week to figure out if we have having 5 or 6 sides, which is entirely governed by player numbers. Get to pre-season or get in contact with a captain/committee member with your plans/availability.

Also, our first trial match is locked in!

Mount Barker Cricket Club will host us at the Summit Oval on October 3rd, and we couldn’t be more excited. It’s a first-class ground with fantastic facilities, and after we hosted Mount Barker last year, they’ll be looking to return the favour!

It’s shaping up to be a great day and a fantastic opportunity to test ourselves against quality opposition. Bring on October 3rd! 🏏
