PLAYER HIGHLIGHT
⚫ Liam Scott made his ODI debut on June 9 against Bangladesh in Dhaka!! Congratulations Liam on receiving cap # 253, we all know this was well overdue!
🟡Liam took 2-57 and also a catch in his first ODI game but did not play in Game 2. Hopefully he will get a chance again in game 3 to be played June 14.

NEW SIGNING
🟡We are excited to announce that Hugo Darby from Spencer Cricket Club in the Surrey Championship Premier League has agreed to play for us next season.
⚫Hugo is a powerful hard hitting top order batter with a of lot experience who is Spencer Cricket Club’s all-time Leading First XI run scorer!
🟡We look forward to welcoming Hugo, Ella and Harry to our club in September once the UK Cricket season has concluded.

SAD NEWS FOR OUR GDCC FAMILY
💛 Sadly, Cheryl left us suddenly on the 3rd of June and we are all left wondering what life will be like without her...she will be greatly missed.

Our Deepest Condolences and Sympathy are extended warmly to Mark, Kylie and their families at this very sad time.

VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION DAY 2026
As part of National Volunteers Week, it was our great pleasure to invite all of our volunteers to the clubrooms on Sunday for some food, wine and great conversations.
Jake Winter (One Day & T20 Capt.) had a tasting of his "Winter Wines" and sold a few bottles also!
Those attending sampled a wonderful tasting table and caught up with fellow volunteers. Thank you to everyone who has helped out in any way, big or small, we truly appreciate your valuable time.

Several of our talented, up and coming junior players recently received their Awards at the Premier Cricket Awards Night.
🟡Grace Flanagan - U18 Girls Youth Premier League Bowling Aggregate winner and named in the Team of the Year alongside Ivy Hobbs.
⚫Logan Banyer - U18 Shield Team of the Year
🟡Sara Rajguru - Dot Laughton Trophy winner awarded to outstanding South Australian women cricketers
⚫Ratna Rahul Reddy Evuri - U17 Bowling Aggregate and U18 Shield Team of the Year.
🟡Ethan Williams was not available on the night but was also named in the U18 Shield Team of the Year.
