Happy 30th Birthday to our incredible Club President, Adam — better known to us all as Big Red!

It's hard to believe that not only is Adam one of our club's youngest committee members, but also one of the youngest club presidents.

Over the years, Big Red has given so much to the Roosters. He started his journey here as a junior player, proudly pulled on the boots as a senior, volunteered as a Sports Trainer and LeagueSafe official, coached our junior teams, and now leads our club as President.

His passion, dedication and love for this club are second to none. He leads by example, always puts the club first, and works tirelessly behind the scenes to help make our Roosters the family they are today. The impact he's had over the past two years as President and long before that has not gone unnoticed.

From everyone at the club, thank you for everything you do. We hope your 30th birthday is as amazing as you are to the club.

Unfortunately due to the amount of rain that has crossed over SA in the last 24/48hrs NRL SA And the support councils have made the tough call to cancel all games over the weekend.

We are gutted but we understand and support the choice made to ensure all players and everyone involved stay safe and to ensure no damage comes to our fields.

The rescheduled fixtures are as follows:

Kick-off: 7:30 pm

Juniors fixtures
Sunday 19th July
LJ Lewis Reserve
Kick off at 8:30am

Friday Night Footy
Our Senior Men are heading to Mitchell Park to take on the Bulldogs, with kick-off at 7:30pm. If you're free, grab a mate, throw on your Roosters colours, and come make some noise from the sidelines!

Our Juniors and Senior Women are back at LJ Lewis for a special day as we celebrate Indigenous Round, while also standing together for Voice Against Violence Round.

Your coaches will have blue tape for the Sammy D Foundation for players to wear, helping raise awareness and show support for such an important cause. We'd love to see everyone getting behind it.

Unfortunately, the Bulldogs Under 17s have been unable to field a team this weekend, so there won't be an Under 17s game. Enjoy the weekend to rest, recover, and we'll see you at training this week!

What an amazing turn out with all our rugby friends with the crew that hosted Adelaide Hills Tigers RLC and our mates at South Adelaide Rugby League Club, Western Warriors RLC, M.E.C Black Swans RLFC and Eels Rugby League Club.

We have such a great little community in SA and we can't wait to see it continue to grow in the years to come!
