✈️ International Development Tour Announcement! 🇳🇿

We are excited to announce a fantastic new opportunity for our Little Athletes in the upcoming 2026-27 season. Little Athletics SA is partnering with Little Athletics Victoria to take a combined team of 12 athletes from the Under 14 and Under 15 age groups to the North Island Colgate Games in New Zealand!

This initiative is designed as a development tour, offering a unique opportunity to recognise and reward athletes who truly embody the spirit of our sport. While performance is a factor, selection will look broadly at an athlete's overall commitment and involvement in the Little Athletics community.

Key Details:

Eligibility: Open to registered South Australian Little Athletes for the 2026-27 season.

Who: A total SA team of 12 athletes from the Under 14 and Under 15 age groups.

Nominations Open: August 2026.

Coaches Wanted – Upcoming Program! 🏃‍♂️

We’re launching Huff n Puff, a brand new Little Athletics program for local Childcare, ELCs & Kindergartens—and we’re looking for energetic coaches to join the team!

💰 Pay: Up to $50/hour
🕘 Flexible hours: Mon–Fri, 9:00am–3:00pm
📚 Training provided (no experience delivering the program needed)
✅ Requirement: Valid WWCC

What is Huff n Puff?
A fun, play-based program helping young kids get active in a supportive preschool environment through:
• Running, jumping, throwing & balancing
• Building confidence & coordination
• Developing social skills like teamwork & sharing
• Creating a positive first experience in sport

It’s all about getting kids “huffing and puffing” while having fun and building lifelong healthy habits 💪

Remember you need to participate in three events to qualify for Cross Country State Champs.
